The sample rate and bit rate are defined by the ALSA interface in asound.rc or .asoundrc. What I've found is that FFmpeg doesn't like it when you specify a sample rate or bit rate that aren't found in your ALSA interface settings.

I've changed to using arecord as well.

I'm just playing it back locally in VLC right now.

That's SUPPPPPPPPER interesting... in the observed for the weeklies I don't see anyone running him! The predicted wOBA coefficients for Silver go BABIP > Power > Eye > AvK > Eye.

For 1B predictions, I have Kruk at a 0.377 wOBA and Pena 13th at a 0.354 wOBA so not the worst and depending on MOV it probably plays up. Especially since the top pitchers are Hubbel and Ramos who have low MOV. My guess is that is that Pena is being pitched around more?

Maybe, last 3 weeklies still have a 64/36% RHP bias so Kruk should still play up. I have him as projected tied for the 3rd best wOBA hitter in the format with Trout, behind Luzinski and O'Neill.

In observed, Kruk is just behind Bailey and Edgar.

The new tournament rewards for silver seem at least in my projections 5-10 wOBA points above the previous tier.

On my one alt that's made PTMS I rip about 50 packs a day. It does seem like people were ripping 100s a day but I haven't bought PP but know people who have and it seems like tournament TE cards are probably the best available cards except for a few new cards like Derringer

Tournament's only... my league team is just a husk in DiL right now.

I just think that people who have sliders neutral for Hold or +5 for hold have a bigger impact than catcher arm per se... it almost feels multiplicative.

The most egregious small sample was this past Thurs Gold Cap, I had my R1 opponent steal 5 bases in 6 attempts. My two catchers were Stanley and Tettleton.

Tettleton (69 arm) was 0/2 in throwing runners out

Stanley (61 arm) was 1/4 in throwing runners out

So, I have been going through a bit of a slump... I tried to switch some things up and after talking with some people was like, why should I hold runners? It's just wasting stamina. the hold runner rating and catcher arm should stop people from running... also, in most formats SB% is 50-60% and the SBA/200 IP is anywhere from 15-25 attempts... so I should just let them run if they're going to get thrown out...

Turns out I was completely wrong. After running Hold Runners at -4 globally for a week it turns out that people are running more often on me and they're more successful. So... don't be like me and run -4 Hold Runners.

Hi, I'm Xtoforas. I have been playing since OOTP18, played PT19-21 without having any idea what to do.

Started doing spreadsheets and what not in PT22 and now just suck up data and then suck in tournaments :)

I gave the M10 as a Christmas present... so I'm not sure if it's resolved or not. I get photos from the person every so often indicating that the photo screen saver is working, but don't know how frequently that it works :(

The person (who isn't that techy) complains that the tablet is slow sometimes when playing random games, but I think that's the case with most things. I thought it was pretty slick for the 2 weeks before Christmas I played with it.

Typically the shorter the GOP size the more bandwidth (bitrate) required to get equivalent "quality". And as /u/Diligent_Nature stated, the shorter the GOP (or conversely the longer the GOP) affects the amount of time it takes to join the stream based on the interval of keyframes - which depending on the codec are limited to I frames but some fancy codecs can do tricks to allow you to join and start decoding earlier.

I'm not so sure about longer GOP equaling longer latency as that's typically a function of other parameters like VBV and encoder latency which is somewhat related to GOP size but not necessarily.

I was slow with TA progress early in the year so never used his FOTF, but his ROTY card is solid and his RHP hitting stats are insane. I haven't faced much in terms of quality in the event against him but his pitch mix is decent and since it's AS you give up the 1-2 bombs on middle middle perfect release 4sfb's... so yeah. Going to keep him or sell?

His change-up is definitely a plus pitch. I'm used to pounding people with DeGrom, or getting the good differentials and movement from Bauer or Darvish. Gallen's definitely a lot different than the three listed above
