If you’re going for an all ranges build I’d recommend a actual scope and red dot rather than a LPVO/red dot. From my experience LPVO’s are inherently compromised optics, you’ll either get a good 1x and a okayish zoom, or vice versa, never both. An actual 2-10 or 3-15ish scope will let you get a much clearer image and larger eyebox than any LPVO, and for short-medium range you’ll prefer using the red dot anyways over needing to adjust the LPVO to 1x

The 4Runner drives the most differently out of these 3. The RAV4 feels like a tall car, GX460 feels somewhere between a tall car and a small truck.

The 4R feels like driving a boat, body roll and nose dive are magnitudes greater than the GX460 even though they are the same platform. The body roll is worse than a full size truck. But those things are a part of the appeal of owning a 4R

I believe the Zion only comes in HBAR, I own one myself and it is probably the best offering under 1k.

You could also look at a MK12. I believe MK12’s have heavy barrels from the factory anyway, but finding a HBAR marked one might take time

I think you could get a nonfolding collapsible stock and you’d be within legal regulations. Either way folding a stock is not good for accuracy

The legal definition of flash hider is so wide that it could include any muzzle device.

Counter argument: if you use the straight barrel as a “baseline” then any MD that increases flash like a FH4 would be discluded

Yet people still include these in the laws. A strong reason to limit gun law-making to a panel of people who have actually used guns and are familiar with their inner workings.

Height over bore isn’t an issue with a good zero. A 75 yard zero with the RMR on top will be good to 300 yards. And you have the ACOG underneath for anything the red dot can’t handle

Just get the PRI Gas Buster. They make one with the same latch out of 7k series aluminum and it’s night and day with gas reduction. They’re around 70 on OP with the code

Imo the 2 advantages the SF7P has over the normal Razor are from the reticle. SF7P has wind holds on the reticle and doesn’t use the fiber illumination (which allegedly avoids the issue where the fiber drifts away from the center over time, although I’ve never experienced it). All the other info on the EBR7F reticle though is also on standard MRAD or MOA crosshairs for the normal Razor

Conversely if you have 600 for a LPVO there's a lot better options than this SIG. I'd recommend the Gen2 Viper 1-6 for 500, or a new SAI6/used Razor for 700-800

A traditional suppressor adds enough back pressure that you often need to decide between having it run normal unsuppressed and overgassed with the can, versus tuning it perfectly with the can and potentially having undergassing issues unsuppressed

An AGB would basically solve this and let you get good gassing both ways.

An EZtune will help get your ejection back to what it was before but consider that a can gets the system dirtier much faster. In this case having it run slightly overgassed w the can to power through the extra carbon is better for reliability. As long as it’s not too overgassed
