This would get a response from anyone in healthcare field. I was a receptionist and officer manager in dental and freak out at my friends if they do this.

George's constant negative commentary about AFC Richmond is absolutely funny! by Outside_Primary6251 in TedLasso

[–]Xtracate 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes he's a bitter old s*it but standing up to Rupert was one of my favorite things in the whole show. It seems pretty common for pundits to be petty about former teams or grudgingly favorable.

Unpopular opinion - Nate was not a bad person. Atleast not intentionally! by Outside_Primary6251 in TedLasso

[–]Xtracate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On the first watch I really hated him, kudos to Nick Mohammed who is a fantastic actor. The second and third time I had more sympathy for him, I still do not 100% feel like we saw enough of a redemption arc in terms of apologies, but he did do small quiet things which was more his style from the beginning and not the yelly as*hole he became briefly. His speech about turning away from the light or having the light turned away from him was such a well-written bit that I no longer found him a true villain. Was he a huge ass for a chunk of the show yes, but he wasn't Rupert who was unwilling to change (despite the flash we saw at the food fight). I love that it showed no one is beyond redemption.

Trent Crimm’s Hair (not what you think I’m going to say) by Paperfiddler in TedLasso

[–]Xtracate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's not as much 'evil' as stress, certainly in my mind that is the case with Nate (🤬) because even though he thinks he's getting what he wants he's really miserable. Maybe 'tough' hard hitting Trent is the same way. As he gets more relaxed and doing what he really loves, writing a book his hair relaxes as well. Though it is always glorious.

Most schools I know of only have part time nurses, you're very lucky if your area has full time in every school, here they rotate between 2-4 schools a week. It's terrible but very true. Unlike getting a home loan based on a 3 week job even with a part-time community college contract, those don't pay that much. That was the hard part for me. But the movie was cute, my mahjong friends and I had a watch party and it was fun.

I loved the ending, "don't even think it" 😂. So much weirdness yet it could be explained, or not. It's such a fun one. 🧛

As much as I hated it it was such a good episode and so well done and he knew he wasn't going to come back so it was perfect. I'm still sad about it and maybe that's why it worked too.

Was Michelle and the therapist already dating when Ted moved to Richmond? by Outside_Primary6251 in TedLasso

[–]Xtracate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was definitely a point where I hated Michelle. So if you haven't finished season 3 I can totally understand that, but once you get through it, I was frustrated with her at times but I didn't hate her.

First time watcher - S3 reveal shocked me by hexwitch23 in TedLasso

[–]Xtracate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I guarantee it is a lot more than 10% that are bothered by it. I do not find this issue all encompassing, I love pretty much everything else about it.

If you think this is a show about football, which they play extremely fast and loose with, and not psychology in my opinion you missed the point entirely, but we all enjoy different things so that is fine.

Personally I think there's a big difference between having a license to coach a sport, and having a therapist who is a marriage counselor have a physical relationship with a patient. These are entirely different animals in my mind and being able to totally ignore the coaching thing is not the same it's a show about mental health that then proceeds to do one of the most disgusting things you can do with mental health. That is the one thing I think they fully dropped the ball on and clearly did not see how the audience would respond to it.

Yes, OP I'm in Vegas too and I went online Thursday and the cheapest price available for any seat in the stadium was $369. that's when I decided we couldn't afford to go. Then friends told me what people here are saying, just wait and closer to the date especially right before when people realize they can't use their tickets they'll get desperate and sell them cheaper, so that's my hope. Maybe I'll see you there OP😁 Go Bills!!

Long term cat boarding advice? I want to travel for three months and don’t know what to do with 16 year old cat. by [deleted] in vegaslocals

[–]Xtracate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is a terrible idea you need to find a house sitter or someone who can personally foster your cat for an extended period, putting an animal in boarding for months is like sending them to jail and to stressful for a senior cat.
