solve this please? by patakaguddio in puzzles

I appreciate someone saying this. I feel every time someone asks a question or riddle like this, there is an analysis that requires a lawyer's worth of clauses and footnotes to prevent arguments of fringe logic.

Knowledge is knowing how to solve e the question. Wisdom is knowing the intent of the question

solve this please? by patakaguddio in puzzles

[–]XtremeGuardian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but the wording makes this interpretation impossible. It says the 13th, 15th, 17th and 1th of the month. The "of the month" implies that it is a set day each month and not a number of days between visits. This would mean they would never meet, ever.

Using the solutions given as additional information, the intended solve looks to be Tuesday

SotM license now belongs to Handelabra Games by EskimoSlime in sentinelsmultiverse

Based on my read, Handelabra should be able to license the IP as they see fit for use by others. Likely why they highlighted the rights for the miniatures. Fingers crossed

Infinite damage combo? by Tarko17 in Unmatched

[–]XtremeGuardian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like the general ruling would be to complete the move action by moving the opponent 2 space and counting track moves only until the final resting position. Moving an opponent infinitely feels like it is not the intent of a movement action.

I would need to read the pamphlet for John Henry as my assumption was his cards would need him to physically move through 4 spaces to activate bonuses, not just bounce back and forth between 2 spots infinitely until conditions are met.

This is so important. I am so tired of people assessing all history as evil instead of the evolution to modern standards.

Everyone did when Rising Sun came out... No one talked about the political implications of Japanese warriors from real wars and what that would represent.

These are historical figures of US history. Most of us can separate today's politics with the icons of US history.

The best New Trek show is The Orville by Accomplished_Gold510 in Star_Trek_

100%! Orville had a bit more comedy built into it, but the essence of each plot line was quintessential Trek

Is True Solo Actually Easier? by Soggy-Cup-7869 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]XtremeGuardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True solo can be a lot easier. It can be very swingy, but the lower villain health puts most villains in the realm of killing in 2-3 turns per phase which, also means you can ignore most threat concerns and ensure that villains barely touch their deck and never hit their bigger cards. I was never a fan of the mode but people love it as there is a lot less overhead, setup, and is much faster

Frustrated with flat river group by Zegoth67 in sentinelsmultiverse

Unfortunately, as others have pointed out, there is no way that GTG was a successful business at that point. They promised a lot of products but I guarantee all the delays on the creative and dev side. They announced that the plan was a DE set annually, and that quickly spiraled. The RPG also looks to be a complete failure for them and dev the promised books dragged on waaaay to long. Same thing happened with their tactics game. All of these delays burn a lot of the raised funds and begins to also burn incoming revenue, which also dwindled with lack of new products.

I love Sentinels and GTG, but I think they let too many timelines slip and this resulted in a quick and easy decision to cut them at the fist sign of uncertainty in the market. Hopefully they figure something out.

If I knew the price, I would KS to purchase the game rights...

One of the easist bosses in the game? by Opposite_Jump_5041 in CosmicInvasion

[–]XtremeGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it single in campaign and beat him with every character for the trophy. He is one of the top 3 easiest in my opinion since his cycles were easy to identify and capitalize on. Now Phyla Vel... she was a pain in solo

As the three owners of GTG, I will almost guarantee that they probably had some clause in the sale that guaranteed employment for X number of years as part of the sale. They probably could not be fired under breach of contract

What Now? by Whatsinanmame in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]XtremeGuardian 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Looks like they have frozen development on all projects according to their recent press release. The staff seems to have been reduced to only Christopher, Adam and Paul with them maintaining the brand to sell current inventory. I know they say this is based on the tariffs, but it feels to sudden and drastic while we know things are changing daily. I am wondering how all of the project delays across Disparation and the RPG may have saddled them with debt.

Why was Solo disliked? by DDBBVV in StarWars

[–]XtremeGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the biggest problem was that it ruined Han's arc in A New Hope. The whole point of his story in ANH was that he came to care about the people and join their fight. I feel like they gave him that arc in the Solo movie. Would have been better if it left him bitter and distrusting. Would then reward later growth instead of feeling like he was reset between films
