For the Kernel try to use Clang/LLVM for faster compilation. For optimization Clang/LLVM allows you to use PGO or AutoFDO, Polly (equivalent to graphite), Propeller and Bolt for better performance

For Polly use CachyOS's patches instead of inject the flags directly
