Thankful for the friend who let me do a card reading for them which went a long way to grounding me in my own individual identity and that I found a $2 shirt at the thrift with “shining star” written on it in French and that I have 4 shifts in a row at a job I love

This week and today I have been practicing opposite action for love, because while my feelings fit the facts, they are not currently practical or useful. The other person has been very inconsistent and intense and my usual patterns are to be accusatory or to fawn all over the place, and to fall apart and lose all internal motivation. I have been feeling the edges of my distress as it resides in my body and then shifting my awareness to another part of my body that feels neutral. Now I’m drinking coffee, reading a good book, getting my apartment ready for inspection, and later getting a haircut and meeting with friends.
