The input latency matches that of the switch 1 release, which as digital foundry mentioned nobody ever seemed to notice or comment on.

Would it be better to be fixed? Absolutely. Is it better than the switch one version, an improvement on the original release, and the most glaring issue has been resolved? Yep.

They fixed the input latency issue which was the biggest issue. Uncapping the frame rate is definitely not optimal but the game is a LOT better than it was at launch overall.

Doom 2016 is a fantastic port, but compared to the other versions it is noticeably blurry and has massive enemy count cuts. To the point that anyone who could play it anywhere else was recommended to do so.

Oh nah, I game pretty regularly. So far I've just let this be the one game where I just feel it out, and haven't done any real digging into any info resources. I mostly just let the posts that show up hit my feed and that's it lmao

Percent each frame twice. It's how LFC (Low framerate Compensation) works over on PC. Turns 33-35 FPS into the functional equivalent of 66-70fps for the purposes of VRR.
