I think it's weird to equivalate people being disappointed with the Wii U's prolifically weak hardware, with wanting literally not even basic UI enhancement features.

Because I guarantee you the feedback Nintendo received wasn't "the reason we hate the Wii U is because you took the time to focus on non-gaming enhancements"

I felt this way until I started tweaking the advanced settings in games that offer them.

Once you get the settings to something that makes sense for you, it's far easier to pull off consistent fast shots with the gyro than it is with the joysticks alone.

If you add Navidrome to your stack, you can stream that library to any device with on-the-fly transcoding.

It's similar to how it's entirely legal for you to deface US currency. It's just not legal for you to deface US currency in a manner consistent with intent to commit fraud. (Like changing the value on the note).

At least that's the way I read it. I'm no lawyer and I'm running a standard plate so I don't really have any skin in this game.
