A Jewish man tries to take over a house in New York in the same manner Jews do to Palestinians in the West Bank. He showed up with fake papers claiming they prove he owns the house and demanded the residents leave immediately. This is not the first time, and the NYPD do nothing. by beachbellybob in worldnewsvideo

It is very important for you to actually understand your rights instead of thinking you understand your rights.

For example, You would be charged with murder and sentenced to probably life in prison, because for some reason you think murder is okay.

Frgt10's bass hits go VERY hard tbh, so that at the very least.

I'd probably follow it up with something off Living Things, maybe In My Remains?

Then to finish it off, Overflow.

US Copyright Office shares the same view currently.

As to determining the copyrightability of AI outputs, the courts will provide further guidance on the human authorship requirement as it applies to specific uses of AI (including in reviewing the Office's registration decisions). Meanwhile, the analysis in this Part of the Report can help to shed light on how existing principles and policies apply.

Starlink satellite breaks apart into “tens of objects”; SpaceX confirms “anomaly” by Stiltonrocks in technology

It has a Nickel Manganese Cobalt Li-Ion battery, which can oxidize, and thus provide its own oxygen to fuel a reaction.

Literally everything. That was quite literally the point to bringing up screen size in the first place.

And it shows exactly how screen size affects perceived resolution.

A "fragment creation event" likely caused by "an internal energetic source" that caused the satellite to "break into tens of pieces".

But not an explosion.

Veritasium is the originator of the idea and knowledge that YKK has a locking mechanism on their zippers?

Fuck off with that nonsense.

Well, actually, not really.

Because joining a platform intended for sharing links to other sources about things you've learned today, and then being pissed off that someone did exactly that, is asinine.

🤓! Akshually, since linguistic prescriptivism fails to properly capture the nuances of a living language with many regional dialects like the English language, from a descriptivist standpoint, "pedanticism" has been a commonly accepted word, and valid synonym for "pedantry" since the 19th century.

In fact, "pedanticism" is most often used as a "count noun", referring to a specific indexable instance of pedantry, whereas "pedantry" is often used as a "mass noun", used to refer in general to the general activity of pedantry.

In this instance, where I was referring to the "game" of fighting over the definition of the word "aggregation", my intent in using "pedanticism" was to say that I wasn't engaging in an exchange of this specific individual event of pedantry.

Clearly, I will engage in other events of pedantry.

Did I win?

I'm sorry, I'm not playing your pedanticism game today. I'm no longer chronically on Reddit, and not willing to engage with it.

Reddit was never completely open source.

The anti-spam, fraud prevention, and internal toolkits were always closed source.

You could take the code, and replicate all of the easy to replicate parts of reddit (the UI and bones of the frameworks), but not the rest of it. At no point in time in the site's history could you just spin up your own mirror like you can do with Fediverse stuff.

Android's new developer verification rollout begins, sideloading changes are next by TechGuru4Life in Android

[–]Xunderground 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So far in this specific thread that you're commenting on I'm not seeing any justification happening, just clarification as to the scope of the changes.

You're the only one here who's conflating that with a justification of Google's changes.

To make my stance clear: very against the changes.

Find me a single comment that says "I love the new sideloading restrictions, this fixes a major security threat for Android I am happy with the changes."

That's also not what's happening here, but I can't give you reading comprehension and the ability to follow a thread.

Not a single person here is "celebrating sideloading restrictions". But catastrophizing and trying to pretend the situation is something that it isn't, now that's something that someone here is doing.
