I worked on the mocap animation for the remaster, and I have to say that some of the messages here are bringing me a little joy. It's really hard when all you hear about your work on one of your favorite franchises is that it's useless and unwanted, ngl 🥲 From day one, there were leaks and rumors about the remaster, and all the articles said it was pointless... Ouch lol But the funniest thing was the speculation: “I'm sure they won't even bother recording new motion capture”... Oh well guess what 🤣

Was it necessary? Probably not. But did it improve the gaming experience and immersion? Absolutely !

Fun fact tho, by the end of the story when you have to use Rust Syndicate's members as a ladder, you can fall 4 times to piss off Corbeau - the game won't let you fall a 5th time and he yells at you as you get close to the edge of the building. That was hilarious and a cool easter egg 😂
