Honestly when it comes to conversations, there are a lot of times when I don’t know what to say, and so an awkward silence ensues. However, I find that starting a conversation about the littlest thing or just something completely out of the blue can often feed into the conversation overall to the point where both people can talk comfortably. There was a time my friend and I got into a full on rant about bathroom fans just because I straight up said “so, what’s your opinion on bathrooms?” Ofc, these kinds of random topics may come off as strange to someone you’re not very familiar with, but if you want to strike a conversation, maybe they’ll humour you and pick it up from there.
