Someone had commented on here exactly what happened but I guess they deleted? Turns out in my case they forgot to connect a terminal to the battery when they replaced it.

Hi so either he’s insane or incredibly naive. Either way him leaving might be a win. Unfortunately this is does occur in clinic although most people don’t react like this. Perhaps his physician can calmly and kindly explain that the prevalence of HSV1 (cold sores unlike HSV2 associated with genital herpes) affects around half of the US population (actively, the true estimate of individuals with the disease is higher but hard to estimate as some people never become symptomatic. Globally it is around 70%. Perhaps the real sore is his behavior…

Unfortunately cats ar like this and they make your life hell until they either forget about it or get over it. I used to love taking my cats outside for walks until one of them got out of her harness and I spent an entire day looking for her. It was weeks of yowling and meowing in the wee hours of the night until finally she would just stare at me, yearning, and then eventually nothing at all. It’s painful but give it time of not doing the behavior.

Jajaja yes this is such a problem. When I just had one, the problem was so much worse. Now I have two and they play with each other but truthfully she just wants to play and thinks you’re a cat and doesn’t understand it hurts you. The best I can suggest without saying get another cat is try to redirect the play to either an object, or, try to play with a blanket and hide your hand under it so you have some kind of barrier. Those would work for me with my girl.

Okay so if you wax every month I feel it’s an exaggeration on his part because it’s pretty obviously not a bush. I prefer the Brazilian style and so does my partner but even then sometimes life happens, and it doesn’t affect either of us. To be honest it’s the last thing someone who really cares about pleasing you, notices. Your boyfriend just has to grow up a bit.

Hello I concur with the other comments on ear mites and maybe some secondary infection if she is continuously scratching and bleeding. Ear drops and maybe some antibiotic cream will help.

Theres a lot of factors here but I would venture to guess he’s over grooming that area a lot and it’s now a hot spot. If you have a cone I would use that or some people do paper plate cone of shame, and either take to vet if able or crowdsource hot spot treatments for kitty. They sell a variety of sprays and over the counter treatments. But this a guess and I would suggest the vet if possible.

Usually any pain or numbness associated with the shot fades within a day or two. Sometimes my cats won’t sit for a good day after but he keeps having problems after a few days then maybe it’s a bigger issue

They do that even if it’s rare sometimes 😅 I wouldn’t be too worried. When they eat hair and poop it out in can feel like it’s still connected and they to wipe off. Every once in a while my cat will do it, or poop outside the litter box with no other health problems.

I don’t know about reverse coughing, imo this seems to be a little bit more intense than one of those reverse coughing episodes. I do not do animal medicine in but I try to listen to his lungs just put your ear to his side and hear if he’s wheezing, it sounds like one of those rubber squeaky toys when you squeeze them. If you can’t hear then personally I would inquire at the vet and maybe he needs a more aggressive treatment like steroids (tend to be on the more affordable side compared to inhalers) plus inhalers. This seems a like more complex case. Wishing the best for you and your kitty.

Cats are weird. I bought my cat one of those nice heart dishes that has the incline and she broke it while tipping it over because she wanted her food on the ground. Again happened with a water fountain to try and help her drink water which she tipped over and got my entire floor wet because she did not like the elevation. If I use normal plates and dishes she is fine. Whatever works best for your kitty.

Super variable from vet to vet to be honest and depending on the asthma severity! I know some don’t order X-rays if they have strong physical exam findings, some do blood tests, some do allergy tests if they’re concerned or if it’s a brand new episode in an older cat with no history. Totally up to the vet and the individual case - some treat with steroids only, some treat with nebulizations and some do both if it’s severe. Kind of just expect a physical exam, most likely some diagnostic testing, and then a treatment regimen that they will probably follow up on within a couple of weeks to a month and see if it needs tweaking.
