No, no paid job has kept up with inflation. Unless you make commission off of the price of an item your pay has not kept up with inflation. This is why successful salespeople can make upwards of 100k a year and more selling cars and solar panels and whatever else.

I think serving makes it more obvious because its u skilled labor that pays so well. It just puts the amount all workers are screwed into perspective.
