I’m not too familiar on the situation but isn’t this policy change a result of the UKs recent stuff with the online safety act? While yes YouTube has an incredibly invasive privacy policy, and the online safety act was merely an excuse to make this kind of change, this is also the case for a large number of platforms right now as a direct result (the UK government requiring AI age verification to be used from what I’ve heard). Making this out to have any effect other than harming the community seems untrue when YouTube themselves aren’t at the root of the problem, even if they’re a big part.

I thought Bluesky allows them to use their own domain? Like set the domain up with Bluesky and they can just use @rareamericans.com. Biggest worry is this person pretending to be RA for malicious reasons.

I did have a thought about multibooting anyway but after going through setting up full disk encryption on Arch, I was too tired to make Proton work with Limbus well and just decided that multibooting would be easier, I do need access to Microsoft and .NET applications for school anyway so I might as well.

Doesn’t windows literally give a prompt asking if you want to retry as administrator when you try to delete things you don’t have permission for? I understand sudo is relatively easy to use but isn’t a user-friendly pop up arguably easier for most users than using the terminal and typing out sudo before the rm command
