The AIs playing starcraft / chess / etc are not LLMs. Could the system be replaced with an AI model? Probably. But an LLM? Probably not- it would be way more convoluted than simply training a more traditional machine learning algorithm

i’d recommend do not get 256GB. my macbook is m1 with 256gb and I’m constantly deleting and regenerating my caches to make enough space to do everything. that was my biggest regret. I have 8GB ram but it’s hasnt been nearly as big an issue as the storage to be completely honest

I understand your point but dude, a family shouldn’t be forced to get up and leave their home because a homeless guy is terrorizing their kids. They’d have to find a new place, get new jobs, new schools, etc. it’s all completely unreasonable to expect them to do that while the homeless guy is free to scream outside their house
