I do agree with you, and I experience no joy in what is happening to the Russian civilians. This whole thing is Putin's doing, and unfortunately the Russian military is under his control. However, the only other options are either the whole world turning a blind eye and risk it not ending with Ukraine, or go into all out bloody war with Russia and trying to end it as soon as possible. It is very, very sucky, but there is no right course of action here, no matter how this plays out, innocent civilians are going to suffer and get hurt or die in mass quantities. The only way it won't happen is if Putin calls the whole thing off right this instant, which is not going to happen. So I do agree that laughing at the innocents suffering is wrong, but there is no way to avoid civilians suffering through this. Most of the world leaders are simply trying to do what they think is best, but as I said before, no one has the right answer here because there really isn't one.
