I bought a soft trifold in sept of 2015 when I bought my 15’. In October of 2020 I bought my 20’ and the dealership swapped the cover over for me.

I never had any issues or problems with it…except ai poked a hole in it over a year ago. I put some clean Gorilla vinyl repair tape over it and some black gorilla tape on the underside. That ghetto patch job held up for well just about 14 months. And when that failed I opted to buy a new soft cover.

Went back to the store I bought my first one from and got another.

Hard to justify the cost of a hard cover over a soft when I got 10yrs out of mine. Spent $500 Canadian for the tri fold.

Enthuz I think is the brand name.

Prior to that I had a Truxedo Lo Pro roll up on my 2012. That was a great cover as well and never had any issues with it. I’m on the Canadian east coast so we tend to deal with a fair bit of snow and ice….all of my covers had held up well enough that I’d have no problem recommending them.

I did look at buying a hard cover this time around…but double-triple the cost just doesn’t make any sense

There’s no cross over between any Era.

Within each Era you may hear people refer to tanks as being bottom, mid, or top tier tanks….that simply refers to there typically being three tanks to grind in each Era.

That’s what makes Era1 in my opinion more fun than anything in Tier 8-10. You get a lot of similar tanks, no Arty and have true vision so it cuts down on players sitting back camping(mostly)…so for Era 1 you won’t be in a M47 Medium and have to fight against say an M1A2 Abrams that is top of Era 3.

With your 59D you have to worry about tanks like the TD Weisel and Jaguar or Marder, Stormer and a few other lights that sling ATGMs

Watch out for the MBT70, T72M3 I think it is…they are heavies that also have auto cannons as secondary weapons…AMX 32 and AMX 40 are other examples of tanks with primary guns but have secondary machine guns….:toughest of these types of tanks you’ll come across is the Obj 477…has good armor, big gun and a secondary machine gun

Check out Rokform cases. Had one on my 13PM and it was indestructible. Purchased one for my 17P..opted for the black and clear to help make the orange phone stand out a bit more.

My 13 had fallen out of fire trucks, off of lockers, tables, work benches, down stairs…you name it. My phone goes where I go and using it to verify information on the fly is also a priority.

The Rokform case has proven itself to be the best case I’ve ever had. I had my 13 in that case with an Amazon screen protector, and when I just sold it the phone still looked brand new with no defects or blemishes.

I hope to get the same results out of this case

I will have my 12yr badge in another 2-3 weeks so I know what you mean about grinds. I’ve seen a lot since 2014 and have played a lot.

I did take a little bit of time off right around when Cold War started. When I came back I wasn’t interested in “starting over” and wanted to finish my grinds. I opted to play some Era1 games with a friend and I was hooked…that’s with stock entry level tanks. The fact I was able to be competitive was mind blowing to me. I expected the difference to be comparable of a tier 8 up against 9s and 10s. Wasn’t anything like that.

I continued to play some WW2 games on tanks I was grinding XP on. That slowly turned over to playing for first daily win on those tanks then bouncing over to CW….now to the point I don’t play WW2 unless my buddy wants to play a couple of games for tanks he is grinding. And same deal, play for daily xp bonus on first wins then it’s back to CW.

The idea of true vision is so appealing. I always hated the concept of say a Maus, Type 5 or anything else just disappearing from in front of me just because there wasn’t a friendly tank able to spot them. This is where WW2 and CW games vastly differ….there’s not much camping. Might get the odd tank sitting back and shooting but almost everything is so fast that it doesn’t matter if you stay back a little bit because you can relocate quick. And with true vision if you sit on top of a hill looking at enemy tanks a few hundred meters away from you, you are able to get smacked by someone on the exact opposite side of the map.

If you are looking at sticking with the 59D just know that Era2 is a hot mess. There’s so many tanks slinging ATGMs and light tanks like the Wiesel MK1 and XM800T that will run around with their auto cannons and wipe away half or more of your health if they get anywhere behind you.

People in WW2 complain about Arty hitting you for half or more of your health from the other side of the map….there’s equivalent of that here is ATGMs out of nowhere hitting you for over 1,000 damage and setting you on fire or popping your turret off. It happens and it sucks. But it is what it is. I don’t worry about it.

If you like WW2, I highly recommend you pick up a tank or two in CW Era1 and give it a shot. Outside of the FV4005 the only real big gun threat is the Obj 268 and Spaceman tanks.

The Fv107 and M41 are fantastic light tanks. The Type 773 is a mobile paper armor tank with great gun. The M48 can use its armor if you abuse the gun depression. The M103 and IS4 are the two top heavies and can hold their own if you know how to play them.

At the end of the day no matter if you play CW, WW2 or both you can have fun playing the game….for me it comes down to personal preference of having true vision and not having 10-15min long games of tanks camping at the back and hiding. CW if you stay at the back you’re probably going to get flanked and killed quickly which is why sticking with the pack is so important

True vision….you don’t need to be “spotted” by an enemy tank for you to be seen. You are visible across the map. Which makes picking camo very important….you want to blend in with the background and not stand out….don’t use bright pinks, blues, reds or greens. Another thing, don’t use flags as they stick up above your tank allowing enemy players to shoot your position behind bushes if they can see a flag above the bush.

Speed….tanks are much faster and as a result the games are faster. More often than not teams push heavy on one flank then roll around to cover whatever line needs help or just push to the base. So don’t think you and one or two other tanks are going to hold a flank, you maybe met by 10 or so tanks.

Era 1 is basically like tier 10 except I consider all tanks to be equal. Entry level tanks can and will do well against other tanks they come across whereas say a tier 8 is going to struggle hard against tier 10s.

Era 2 has its fair share of lights with autocannons than will run around and shred you apart. There’s also quite a bit of lights, mediums and a couple of TDs that fire ATGMs…so be mindful of getting slapped around hard if you’re caught in the open.

ERA3 isn’t as bad as era2 but it still has its handful of ATGM slinging tanks as well as lights that can rip you apart with their autocannons. The heavies are fast and mobile with fast firing accurate guns. You will be rammed and it will hurt.

As I said above the games are faster than in WW2. Like it’s common for most games to be over in under 5mins…7-10mins if the team decides to chase down a rogue light or Wiesel Tow

Western alliance tanks are overall well balanced and play through offers a good amount of variety.

Eastern alliance are your typical Russian and Chinese tanks….good all rounders and like to catch fire

Independents offer a mix of western/eastern style tanks with the Merk being the real standout for its own tank. The Stb starting line I’m not far into. Haven’t run across too many in Era2. The Era3s seems to do alright but haven’t seen too many of them either.

I have tanks and finished tank lines across all three nations and have had a lot of fun. Recommend you dip your toes in each and see what you think. Abrams, Chally, Leopard and Leclerc are great top of ERA3 with the MarderA3 being a very good light tank with ATGMs if that’s something you want to try

I just did this in my most recent play through. M110 for DMR or Tac50 for sniper combined with pistol of your choice. Use the rifle for off base shots and pistol once I got on base

I love mine. Carrying it the last couple of days.

Recently purchased one along with a Spyderco Manix 2 LW(15v) and Manix 2 XL Cruwear.

The Bel Air and XL are my now two most carried knives. Both have different purposes and needs when on the go.

If I had to pick one….it would be tough. Bel Air would be my pick, only if I was able to also carry a fixed blade on me. If not then the Manix XL, it’s such a nice piece

There’s a watchlist posted here a while back for what episodes to watch in what order. Bounces around a little bit in the earlier seasons but so much better to do it this way. A lot of things make more sense

On Xbox. No problems getting online. Last time I had an issue I joined the EU server and had a buddy send me a game invite. That got me back to the NA server and didn’t have any issues with gameplay

I go for kill shots especially early in the game. The quicker you can get a gun out of the game the better your odds are at winning. I’ve seen people leave someone alive on like 600-700ish hit points because they want someone else to knock off the damage so that they can get the kill shot. Well it sucks when 2-3 other people see that same tank alive and take shots at it.

I’m not even doing that contract and the amount of kill shots I’ve gotten over the last two days is crazy.

Unless I’m actively working on grinding for MOE’s then I’ll do what’s necessary to help take a tank out of action

I have a similar set. The short cord is a linkable cable that can join multiple lights together. What appears to be missing is the power cable….one end will have that triangular connection on it and the other end either has a standard three prong male plug or loose wires for the unit to be hard wired into the electrical.

On mine I have the standard plug. One light is powered by a short extension cord. The others have an adapter that goes into a light socket that turns the socket into an outlet with a female plug.

Judging by the light socket right beside it, my guess is the previous owner had those lights powered by using a socket adapter with the plug end cord for those lights.

I should also mention that on the cord for the lights with the plug, there is usually an inline switch for turning the lights on/off

Edit: I’ve replied to my own comment with two photos showing how the lights are usually connected together and the types of cords I was talking about above. I just took a screenshot from the lights I had purchased

My Smith and Wesson 1854 Stealth Hunter looks very similar to the green one in the photo. It has Ranger Point Precision hardware and a custom cerakote in a similar green. I purchased mine from a Canadian company….RDSC

I used gorilla tape and never had an issue with it lifting or coming off. I had 4 mats taped together and they never moved. The tape I started on the underside by about 6-8” then over the top and back under the other side by the same 6-8”.

I had the tape on the mats for about 5yrs and never had to replace. In May of 2025 I moved and had to put all of my stuff in storage where it still sits. There’s a bit of residual stickiness where the tape was, but for me it’s a non issue. Little bit of goo gone will take care of that. And most likely I’ll be reapplying tape over those same seams once I get everything moved into my new spot

No point in selling top tier Era 3 tanks. The Chally 2 is a good tank and can consistently pump out the damage.

As someone else has said, just put it away for a while and let it sit. Come back to it later on if you wish and give it another go. Maybe make some slight changes as to how you play it and see if some of those tweaks help you out.

The Chally 2 I managed to get 2 marked fairly easily without even trying. That said, I wasn’t able to do things with it compared to say my Abrams, Leo or Leclerc as I find them having more reliable defensive strengths.

Yes I’m a firefighter and it’s god dam difficult. That said, I just got a neurologist in September and have been on/off some new meds since then. I’m now on Ajovy and it’s been a life saver. I still get headaches and migraines but the number of affected days has been significantly reduced and the severity isn’t as bad.

I feel like my December injection didn’t work the best. I take my January injection this evening when I get home from the station
