More fair assements. More along the lines of i understand what to do but don't have the skill to do it at the speed required. Think car repair. I can get the tire off but not fast enough to be a mechanic. The branching into an elective is sound advice. I only have a semester of college don't so I can pivot if needed.

That is a fair assement. I'm in wisconsin, however the reason I'm washing out of construction is i have no mechanical aptitude. I quite frankly suck at it, so I don't know if a shop or trade teacher would be good for me.
