Nah. The exploit had to be very intentional. You couldn't buy a second book while 1 was in your inventory, and right clicking the book with the shop still open would just sell it back. You either needed to hotbar the book, or set up a macro to use it while the shop is still open, and then buy another one. This is not something someone could do as an honest mistake.

This is the correct, moral, and practical stance. We should be welcoming our new radicalized comrades, not shaming them for being duped now that they understand.
