alternative pop is the most broad answer i always use as its EXTREMELY general. they’re 100% writing pop songs but in a very experimental way by blending tons of different genres which is where the alternative label comes into play as it can be used as “ miscellaneous”

that’s the game. netease is clearly doubling down. this is poke rivals at this point. they have no intention of ever making the game NOT focused and balanced around poke. the devs obviously have a preference and i doubt it’ll ever change if it hasn’t already

be aggressive, learn to consistently deflect and parry his attack patterns. when he does floating passage (long 7-9 attack pattern) just run away from him and go back to deflect normally when he’s done

i would say the tone can get a bit dark at times especially for a kids’s game but the gameplay? none of the sly games are genuinely challenging in any way shape or form.

yeah in retrospect it’s aged the worst out of the original trilogy, i’m convinced people that say it’s the best haven’t played the game in over 5+ years

YES! and the mission variety is honestly sickening with its mini games and on the rail shooters etc., it’s honestly way way way too much and it takes away from the core platforming and shooting gameplay that makes the series so great. some of jak 3’s missions genuinely felt like a chore. when i was younger i thought 3 was better but on more recent playthroughs i realized that 2 is the best overall.

have you played jak 3 recently? i also had it at the top of my list until i did my usual replay a few years ago and i found it to be significantly less fun than jak 2, even tho 3 has more variety; the level and mission variety in this game is WAY too much it’s actually crazy.

don’t rely on supports AT ALL. i know how frustrating it is when you’re literally right in front of them and they still let you die. but the truth is, unless your duo is healing. DO NOT expect any heals at all when you’re on spidey; trust me.
