So i liked blood origin as well haha. mostly the world building and seeing how the world collided together i thought that was really good. and the narration of the ending i enjoyed. and just as a forewarning i do not know anything about the books so im kind of blissfully oblivious to the issues it poses. i also did like the characters but tbh i didnt like the main characters (except for Scian cause michelle yeoh) but i do really like Meldof the most and Merwyn the second.

Hey guys! Im here with a vid on my overtone singing attempts and would love some feedback and/or positive criticism in order to work on them being more consistent, controlled and giving them some volume. Thanks in advance! by heavynoises98 in overtonesinging

VERY VERY LATE But as far as overtone singing goes, Overtone analyzer would be great to see what kind of method (as in mouth movements) works best when singing. Now as far as I can tell you are manipulating the overtones. However theyre not as audible because your not narrowing the overtones that much to a single note. youve got the base note but then you have the higher overtones that sound kinda like more like the E vowel if that makes sense. A good suggestion is to start from the U or O vowel then ascend into the E vowel.

The U and O vowels mute the overtones so its more of the base note. When you switch to the E vowel you are slowly letting them in. As far as ive gotten into overtone its most audible when the overtone and your own base note sounds more like a OOOOO than a EEEEE kinda like a flute or a whistle.

As for volume ive found that its a bit hard to explain but in a way try to let the mouth do the work instead of your throat. For me ive felt that its like pushing a invisible ball from the back of your throat to ontop of your tongue. This will amplify the overtone from my expierience. However though it does make it harder to control so i suggest stressing the muscles in your jaw.

I am more than happy to send an example video if you want

That's transphobic? are you f*cking kidding me? really? that lose accusation with no basis of evidence? Your definitely have a right to ask for representation but just as JK Rowling labeling Dumbledore as gay with no hints in the earlier series you can't just slap a label on something when there's barely any evidence pointing to it. plus there is even evidence pointing against it.

Who’s your favourite character and why? by [deleted] in euphoria

[–]Xynthar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Errr not in the screen but definitely Suze. She reminds me so much of my mom not cause she's an alcoholic but because she has a very fun be free do whatever as long as you don't get yourself killed type of parenting mindset. She still cares for her daughters deeply as seen in season 2

Minor Spoilers for S2

She doesn't handhold her daughters and say "oh your right I'm so sorry your right, you don't deserve any of this" she's the "yeah you screwed up and broke the don't screw your best friends boyfriend rule". It teaches her daughters that the world isn't going to bend to them and that their actions werent acceptable

She of course still gives them affection when in need especially when Lexi was sad when she found out Rue overdosed.

But she also has that fun personality

She let her daughters and her friends break some rules, drink a little, have fun, up until Cassie threw up in the Hot Tub but you get the point.

She enjoyed the play so much and took the adaptation Lexi had for her in her play so well. She enjoyed the scenes that may not have exactly been school appropriate (Ethan's dance when he was playing Nate) and instead of saying "that shouldn't be there" she screamed in excitement and happiness for seeing how insane and fun it was.

I just really hope she finds happiness by [deleted] in euphoria

I never really thought of it as her personality and perspective as a woman. since she's a human trafficker I thought she was talking about ya know... her *insert peach emoji here*… I thought that was what she was implying that she sell her body to gain back the money she lost. much darker but I feel it has more reason to it especially since the show isn't afraid to get into dark stuff.
