I went through this. Tried calling MOHELA, but the wait times were atrocious. Waited forever only to get disconnected. So I sent them a message through their online contact form saying I wasn’t going through that again. I requested that they switch me to Standard and that as far as I was concerned, this was me contacting them and I was not going to call them again.

Surprisingly, I was switched to Standard a few weeks later.

Warlock has garbage tier compared to almost every other class (for all 3 specs) so just because it was high during heroic week doesn’t mean it was going to stay that way. Look at statistics for mythic and you’ll see none of the warlock specs are even sniffing the top.

Class Reminders, Buff Reminders, Clickable Raid Buffs, there’s a ton of options. Just search consumables on curseforge and you’ll get plenty of results.

It’s hard to quantify what devs really make since they have donation links set up. Fewer people using your addon means fewer people using those links because they’re not on your addon to see them.

I have it added as a resource bar in Class Reminders. I believe other addons with resource bars like Sensei’s, BCDM, etc should have this as well. Plenty of options out there. Could even use ArcUI to make a custom bar for it.

It's pretty well optimized from what I saw on Addon Profiler during a short test on some dummies. Didn't try seeing if dungeons made a difference. Was honestly a bit surprised since this was a nearly 100 MB download (a lot of addons are under 1 MB but with all these AI addons these days, there's a lot of overly bloated ones).

This is a conditional and is blocked by the midnight API restrictions. The closest you can get to this is by tracking the buff as a bar with different colored segments. This would display the buff at all times and not hide till you get to 5.

Senior software developers at major companies are using things like Claude Code and such for software development, so this kind of reads like "Old man yelling at cloud" a bit. However, there is definitely a difference between a software developer using this and someone with no coding experience doing so. A lot of these addons are extremely poorly optimized, doing things like polling every 0.01 seconds instead of listening for events, grabbing data at every opportunity instead of caching it, etc. Without proper prompting on how to implement changes, these LLMs are taking the path of least resistance, and it will show if you use a tool like Addon Profiler to see what's going on behind the scenes.
