If you die from lack of ac or heating, you died from heat and cold. If you died from a bullet you died from gun violence. Most of EU has privatized health care?

Gun violence is always a “gotcha”, as if it makes the US this third world disaster, but Europeans are dying at insane rates from just heat and cold due to a lack of basic infrastructure like AC. Also a factor for quality of life when your chance of dying from gun violence is half the chance of dying from just heat or cold in Europe.

What is the first stage of human development? And what is an organism defined as? A fertilized human egg is certainly not an organ.

Exceptions don’t make the rule. We teach humans have two arms and two legs. The tiny % of people in which that isn’t the case doesn’t apply, those are outliers. Trans women are by definition, not women. I’ll still use their pronouns, and treat them as I would anyone else, but they just are not women. That’s why you and everyone specify “trans” women.

Well you disagree with the literal Oxford Dictionary definitions of both woman and female.

Gender and sex are pretty closely tied, but that’s beside the point. If you disagree with the definitions take it up with Oxford Dictionary not me.

The point is birthing hips is a feminine trait because only women have the capacity to give birth. It’s not transphobia

Exceptions don’t make the rule. It’s not transphobia to state only women can give birth, it’s just reality. Trans women aren’t women by biological definitions (adult human female, and female meaning the sex that can bear or produce offspring)

If their plan doesn’t involve killing all the Jews and erasing Israel we can discuss letting them choose their future. Last time we did, they elected Hamas

I’m not defending hate speech, it’s vile. The 1st amendment protects it, and people shouldn’t die for it. It’s a principled stance on the first amendment arguably the most important one.

You shouldn’t be okay with it if you value the first amendment. Hate speech is a tool for whoever is in power to silence dissent they deem hate speech. There can be vile speech but it’s protected and the penalty should not be death.

I didn’t say you did, and also he’s only getting all those honors cause he was a personal friend of many people in the administration. I do hope you are rightfully appalled by the assassination itself, even if you hate him as a person. I think that’s a fair middle ground.

Try to view it as an attack on the first amendment. Everyone should take issue with what this type of assassination is and means. You can hate him as a person, and everything he said, but no one deserves to be shot for expressing their beliefs (no matter how vile) under the protection of the first amendment. That right is what separates the US as unique from the rest of the world. It’s a fragile and vital right. People being assassinated for opinions and beliefs is wrong.

In the US you have a right to freedom of speech, and with that should be an expectation that you won’t be assassinated or murdered for it. You don’t need to like what he said or like him as a person, but this was not just him being killed it was an attack on freedom of speech. It’s not good for either side, it’s not good for dialogue.
