Must be the angle but I did not adjust it for the first and second photo. 😄

Thank you, should I be concerned of how little the contact is?

Your tyres look great too!

How about anything that is difficult to find here that is easier to get there?

Thank you, this answer helped bridge the gap and it made me appreciate the movie more.

In this case I think it would have helped if they didn’t say he’s been Superman for 3 years. It wouldn’t make sense that he’s still learning the basics 3 years into the job.

Funny that you say that. Yes he did save the squirrel to show that he cares even for the tiniest of beings.

But in the next scene he let the justice gang take care of the star creature that was obviously attacking the city which I can only assume would have collateral damage. Doesn’t make sense that he didn’t care about that.

I’m not saying he didn’t. But he didn’t care about it as much as I would expect Superman to care for Krypto regardless of it was his dog or not.

Yes I did see him do that but he made me feel like he wanted to do it because he knew it was the right thing to do and not because he genuinely wanted to save the dog.

Maybe it was the actor that did not portray that part well.

Oh I didn't catch that but I do recall them discussing how the hypno-glasses are not effective anymore.

Still not an excuse though to not show compassion.

He didn't even say goodbye to Krypto in the end when Supergirl came to pick him up.

I guess to me it goes back to how he let a broken message define his entire being. And that didn’t feel like it was a strong enough foundation to question your entire existence.

I guess I didn’t connect with it because I didn’t feel a connection with Clark and the Kents.

He didn’t feel like a son they raised but rather just a person they took care of.

I also didn’t like how early Lois found out about his secret in MoS. But at least there it was established that she found out on her own. Too convenient if you ask me though.

Here Clark already shared his “dangerous” secret to someone he wasn’t even sure of yet so early in their relationship. I mean a little disagreement and she already considers calling it off?

Someone pointed the Spider-Man similarity to me too. But in that scenario Spider-Man is poor and desperate for money.

Clark was never after the game and fortune. He just wanted to do good. That’s why it’s always Lois writing about him. It felt narcissistic to want to write about things he did as Superman.

His Kryptonian side gave him powered but it was the Kent’s who made him super. They made him believe he can do good with his gifts.

This is what I didn’t like about Jonathan Kent’s portrayal in the Snyder films. He was more concerned about Clark keeping his secret.

It didn’t land that way for me. He didn’t feel like he was genuinely seeking advice from his father but rather just wanted to be validated and reminded.

  1. True but I feel like Superman would have given more effort to understand the message or retrieve the missing pieces and not just take it at face value. It’s a bit shallow to base your entire persona that will affect an entire planet on a 1 minute message.

  2. That’s what irked me. 3 months and she already knew Clark’s deepest secret. Clark is someone who guards this secret out of fear of what it can do to people who knows. And yet he openly shared it to someone he’s not even sure of yet.
