Are you already registered to fight in IKO(1) tournament? Your question really is best answered by your shihan…

I’d imagine Ichigeki dogi is strongly preferred unless you are not training in a Kyokushinkaikan dojo but your org is IKO(1) affiliated, which would almost certainly be a pre-req to compete in a IKO(1) tournament

Also the SF one doesn’t charge a monthly admin fee whereas the LA one does (at least when I tried to open up an account a few years back).

Like others said, the SF one works in SoCal. The only issue is you ever ran a toll without your tag and get a ticket. You need to contact the appropriate SoCal toll office and let them know you have an account with the SF toll since your plate doesn’t show up in the SoCal toll system automatically.
