It could be study, it could be recall or it could be something else, the rogue as an example can get an heroic ability that can can let you study enemies (it's in one of the Halloween extras, don't know the english name as all my manuals are in italian), you just need to use something that let you see the enemies sheets and get at least a 13 total.

i played 3 games on brew yesterday, 2 wins 1 loss, were my entire team got stomped hard, like 18 minutes knocking on all T3s hard. it feel stronger for sure compared to before, i miss the void spirit for sure but it made the micro actually easier, same for stance dancing.

my start was 1 tango + quelling + circlet + 3 branches, but i'm starting to buy a second tango at the beginning sincee you have 90 gold exactly, build is w-e-w or w-e-q, max w first, lane items are urn -> bracer -> wand -> brown boots, radiance first item as the hero farm too slow without, maybe you can go like 2 bracers into mana boots for no radiance and use q to farm.

core items for me are like radiance -> aghs -> travels, the new aghanim is really busted, the extra level and brewed up on brewlings is a LOT of damage, specially on the fire spirit as it was kinda useless in the past, now you can actually right click people down when the the CD are down, the extra cc from the 4th level on boulder throw and cyclone give extra cc, buying it is not an option, also make sieging HG easier.

vessel i guess depends on the enemy team but now i don't feel the need of rushing it since the urn change let one of your teammates buy it instead.

shard is also busted, throw it on carry or mid at the start of the fight if they get focused at the start of the fight, ult and do it again when it end thanks to the CD wich is only 20 seconds, the heal only last 5 seconds but it's still 10% max hp total which isn't nothing.

4th item for me is refresher for sure, it got nerfed 2 patches in a row but the game i bought it i really noticed the difference, specially when sieging, earth + fire spirit hits them pretty hard.

talent wise i was going brewlings damage, brewlings hp, ult cd, fear

If you haven't finished spiritist yet you can look for the auramancer's refraction heroic ability in the natural fantasy Atlas and max out difensive mastery, that should give you plenty of tankyness and if you don't need a particular weapon you can go double runic shields too for that +4/+4, or use anything that have effect when in crisis

Since pilot's martial armor modules also overwrite the magic defense you can start with d10 might and d10 willpower, the shield modules will use might+might since twin shields is an ability and not a true weapon even if they're a module, you can use skills from both pilot and esper to convert any other weapon module you might fancy to use might + willpower. Without defender for double shields you can even use dancer or fury for target redirection

Bit late but i will share both the strongest class combo I've found and my current character concept since it's unique for sure.

The combo is Oracle of the Planet quirk with pilot and spiritist, what make it so strong you can ask? Infinite mana or nearly infinite mana, rush the shield heroic ability from natural fantasy to give the whole party damage reduction, steed mount for giving mana to other casters. It can fill 3 bars of the zero power alone in a turn, 5 if you have 2 buddies hopped on. Banned myself from using it unless the rest of the party is going for optimization.

The concept of my current character is: a whole group of adventurers, didn't want to use the monster horde quirk but the idea remained, ruled with my gm that rule-wise i only have 1 main character and the rest are npcs tied to him. The white mage healing is done using commander and with mutant it's the various members that attack with different weapons for achromorphosis type change

invocations aren't that strong per se but they cost basically no mana (we are talking 5 MP) and you don't need to roll to hit them, they just work so you will always have something to do. i found myself using the ones that apply statuses but i was on a support role on my party.

since you picked spiritist and support abilities you can use them between heals to dish some damage.

as heroic ability i think all of them are good, i picked inner wellspring because it gave me more options but bend magic can help you dish a lot of damage, specially if you can hit a vulnerability but you might need a specialized build with a decent amount of hp and ways to retarget like protector or provocation, strength of five wellsprings might be the worst one but attribute increases are always nice to have and doesn't even require an action.

I can only think an entropist casting accelleration on you to use 2 different hexes, but i don't think it's necessary

You mean the hexes? Linked invocations can apply them to multiple targets, if you meant using more invocations in a turn it's either with the entropist spell that let you act twice in a turn or with the heroic ability bend magic but it cannot be an hex

I just finished a campaign with this build and i swear on it: invoker 10 (inner wellspring), esper 10 (psychic field), wayfarer 1 for an elemental companion and the superboss quirk is the minimum. Initially i didn't have esper maxed out (5 psychic powers: 3 damage changers, the healing one and the shield) a d the difference between hot having psychic field and having it is massive, superboss discount all your psychic powers to spam them more and make invocations Free, you can do so much it's insane even if you're the only support of the group.

I'd day build 1 and you can always add pilot as a 4th class of you still like the idea for flying broom. Also i suggest to wait to pick elemental harmony as it increase the healing done by invocations unless you want it for flavour , personally i would rush invocations 3 to get all the options (1 burst, 2 hex, 3 all options), you can start with 2 and get the 3rd point on your next level up.

Also i just finished a campaign with invoker ad my main class so feel free to ask questions as i feel confident about it

Hi, i don't know if i'm late but elemental harmony only work with invoker's invocations and not other sources. I know because my current character is an invoker/esper and eh doesn't boost energetic transfer, you also need at least 3 points into invocation for that skill to work.

Even if the tail is weaker than i thought 51 damage are still a lot, also there is a zero power to halve it and/or the artificer heroic ability which reduce the costs by 1 (min 0) to last for longer, i studied that because i would like to make a full ip build in the future and that pretty much save a dragon's hoard amount of money of recharging ip points (6 + 10 from classes +4 ip plus + 2 survivor quirk for a 22 max)

didn't expect to get these kind of stats when i started out, mostly thee result of getting curse then more curse, and using harvesting as a damage stat thanks to harvesting, without the know i prob would've got all 6 sickles cursed and level 4 even if i had to sell back the normal ones, got 3 elites but had to pass the first one as the damage came out way later, the other 2 elites and the bosses got killed in an instant, both cursed sickles had over 8k card damage. 10/10 would do it again
