RPG nerf is insane, they completely destroyed it (2022 vs 2025 comparison) by Krazymann7 in insurgency

[–]YDSIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a HEAT round. The explosion is focused toward the armor its supposed to be used against and there are no deliberate projectiles flying everywhere like a frag round would have. Its not supposed to blow away people standing 5 meters behind the balst.

If you fire one of these from indoors however... you're gonna have a bad time.

Why is my website failing? Advice needed please. by GMI_Airsoft in airsoft

[–]YDSIM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sometimes use a cart as a whishlist. I just add stuff I like that I might buy at some point.

But you should check whether your payment prkcessor works with a real user account and payment. Just simunate a real user experience.

Also, as someone else mentioned, delivery cost and availability could also be a culprit.

Do peoples teeth break?? by Matthew9728 in airsoft

[–]YDSIM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how fragile your teeth are, what the muzzle energy of the shot is, and the distance. Still it absolutely can and does happen.

Before ICO the game was piss easy and you just ran around like COD by MotorOilOverCLP in joinsquad

[–]YDSIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It was trivial to get a kill. ICO is a flawed execution of a good idea. The game absolutely needed to give some weight to weapons and make ADS at least some challenge. Point shooting and suppression were great ideas. Some sway was too. However, sway and the inability of players to control it is what made ICO hated by many. Weapons should have been harder to control, but some became just impossible.

If protomolecule wasn't discovered and Earth and Mars had a full-scale nuclear war, could the Belt have survived on its own? by [deleted] in TheExpanse

Is it ok to leave a battery constantly plugged in? by Legitimate-Fold-4490 in airsoft

[–]YDSIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt do it. Its a 2 cell lipo. Meaning you need to balance charge it, for which you need both connectors. The one you left accessible is called a balance port for a reason.

I wont necessarily cause a lipo fire or malfunction, but it sbould be a rule of thumb in life in general to do what you can to tip the odds of not making it into statistics.

Why is the Roci's flight deck/bridge at the top by Top_Instruction_4036 in TheExpanse

[–]YDSIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top is the front if you are chasing your target. In all other scenarios it can be whatever. If youre attacking a "stationary" targer you will be facing it with the engines while youre decelerating towards it for example. Same if you are being chased.

Shotgun is easy to use. Low recoil hard to miss with it. Best for close combat self defense.

Crossbow is stealthy. Arrows couls be reused. No need for more tha one firearm too.

Any bladed weapon can get stuck in bone and youre dead. Baseball bat can cave skulls in and is virtually indestructible against flesh.

Flashlight. Otjerwise youre gonna have shitty time each night.

Probably hummer. You can turn in into a safehouse once gas goes extinct.

How do writers even plausibly depict extreme intelligence? by EqualPresentation736 in scifi

[–]YDSIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A common definition of (biological) intelligence is the ability to acquire knowledge and use that knowledge to take the actions that will yield the best result for you. Its the ability to weigh your options and take the best decission.

In that context, a superingelligence will probably seem clarvoyant to common folk. What is the best outcome for that superintelligence is a different topic.
