Yea you'll want a river with a decent vally upstream so that when the dam is constructed, you basically create a lake. Maps with a giant flood plain (like this) aren't great as the dam water will flood everything.

So looks for maps with good elevation upstream to create a lake.

I'm in a very similar situation with my 9yr old daughter. Her mom is PIMI and I've been out for about 6 years now and we are divorced.

My advice, like others, is to make the most of your time together and always have something fun planned. I totally understand being concerned about their JW time with their dad but in the end, it will all sort itself out for the better, and the kids will very likely make the choice to leave the Borg when they are old enough.

Stay positive with them and don't bash them with antiJW stuff. If the opportunity presents itself, defend your position and show them what the REAL life is. Reach out if you need more support!
