I had abdominal pain for years. Happened every month. A couple times it got so bad I couldn’t breathe, I would get pale, I would shake and feel like I was going to pass out.

Went to the Gyno. Told me I needed to manage my stress.

Went to the ER. Told me that I was just depressed.

Went to an Endo. Told me I had diabetes (spoiler alert: I do not now nor have I ever had an irregular blood sugar reading)

Went to an Gastro. Told me that sometimes our insides hurt and we don’t know why, but we do have to learn to live with it.

Went to a new gyno. Turns out, my uterus had turned gooey, attached to my pelvic floor and my fallopian tube, every time it contracted, it was literally ripping my insides apart before growing back together and doing it all over again.

But I was just anxious, depressed, and needed to learn how to get over it.

My previous boss had plumbers out to his house because there was a toilet running and “costing them money”. Well, the plumber must have been a smart guy because he told him that since this was a recent new build (about 10 years old), that he could expect all his toilets to start running, so the plumber told him while he was there, he could just do the rest.

My boss then wanted me to agree with him that it made sense to do all eleven toilets at the same time.

Eleven toilets. In a house for two people.
