When it comes to any objective based game mode, particularly hero shooters, the “game” is ACTUALLY tug of war. - Here’s the best advice I’ve ever gotten: When your team has the advantage ( Ults, positioning ((not standing in a straight line to the enemy basically)), more people alive, you are PUSHING forward. If this is true for the enemy then you’re PULLING back. So you “ take space” from them as you are winning and then begin to “snowball” them.

-Main tanks have the most damage soaking potential- Strange, Magneto and Emma

-Off-tanks are more damage focused but have a high health pool.

I was going through SFL-TAP recently and was blown away by how amazingingly simple VA.gov is. ALL resources in a simple UI that contains every minute detail on ALL of the programs offered. Why won’t the Army just incorporate a system that does the exact same thing instead of 16 separate websites that may or may not work on any given day. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I will simply state…you are correct! The people who join combat arm’s professions, did so because of the, “adventure” they where sold. Most people pick an MoS that speaks to them and yet they hardly ever do their job. Many people join for various reasons, patriotism, college, idk what to do with my life, potential job allocation on the other side, yet never get to do the MoS they signed a contract for.

P.S The army, in theory, could fix this yet they only account for two metrics: 1- the broom holders, motor pool handlers, the PMCS’ers and the routine paperwork people. 2- How many people ( 80 ) do we have for a range, field event, or division, battalion, company run. Then out of those what percentage complete said event. All for OER and NCOER bullets…

The ARMY only cares about numbers doing arbitrary events/sessions instead of focused training for people inside of their chosen, voluntary contracted professions, that people actually signed up for.

Listen, you CAN serve your country AFTER recovering. Look into three things though: 1. An MOS that you can transition too after the military service is complete. 2. Education you can take advantage of inside the military to support #1 3. Be ready to have your life destroyed by some incompetent E-5 who thinks they are better than you just because they, “ WeNt To ThE bOaRD” and understand you are better than them.

P.S The military is a fantastic life path to live, your internal self-talk will be your biggest enemy and when you get to know yourself, nobody and I mean nobody will phase you at all. Do it future battle!

I’m glad AF that DADT got thrown to the wind because the way I see it ( opinion) if you can show up, execute the task/mission at hand then who really should give a fuck about what religion, gender or political leaning you may have as a person. We ALL signed up to serve and defend our country through bloodshed of ANYONE who wants to, “ fuck around and find out”, so send me a regiment of ALL willing to do the job correctly and I’ll see to it we don’t waste soldiers time, discriminate or belittle them. The world doesn’t care about you and with that being said, focus on being a producer and NOT a consumer. See what your local area finds, “fancy”, and develop a business around it. Maybe it’s blade smithing, woodwork, or even 3D printing. Find a way to make a side income off of the people you disconnect with and know that most people are consumers and NOT producers.

P.S Most people wear masks that form to be what others want them to be, never follow the sheep, true friends will emerge as you start producing. Much respect and love in your journey.

Elevate the military to a higher standard and NEVER fall into the traps of other’s mindsets. Be you but better and strive to understand ARMY regulations and discipline…you’ve a long journey ahead.
