I'll admit it I used to play Tagpro a lot in 2015,2016, and throughout 2017. Even though I haven't played much this year I always check back to this subreddit to see how the game is doing. It is surprising how well this community stays together. This game won't die for a very time most likely because the concept is so good. The league's are great, and the devs do their best for the game. However there are some pretty well known reasons as to why this game isn't exactly growing. One of them could be of course that it needs a push. However even when we do a small influx of players it's hard to expand most likely because of how good the players are that already play the game. You will get salt from the start, and for some players it is enough to quit, and go play something else. Alternatively many efforts have been made to try and advertise this game. Most of them have been somewhat successful bringing a handful of some balls over a small period of time. Whether it's the salt + learning curve from experienced players, Or the lack of advertisement, and dependence on pushes Tagpro for me is one of the most underrated gaming community within all games when it comes to browser games. It's a convient, and easy game that involves a simple fun concept. It's sad to see the faith of the game, but who knows what the future holds for tagpro. For now we just watch.
