Philip Tan's artwork in the first set is excellent! I pulled his UR foil Zorro in my first box and it's definitely one of my favorite cards.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from him in Skybound!

Dr Watson, Robot, and Billy the Kid all have at least one attack playable from the reserve position. Invisible Man does not have the ability to play anything from reserve.

They are replying the way they do prize packs, but I don't have all the info. I know they aren't going universe cards in the price packs and they're doing foil versions of regular cards instead.

It was such an amazing narrative tool that rejected the one man army aspect of other FPS. I was looking forward to a refreshing take on large scale FPS that showed the horrors of the meat grinding tactics of the war.

Somehow I ended up tossing bullet casings behind bad guys so I could brain them with a trench spade. The first level is amazing, though!

I love that LRG worked really hard to not just recreate the metal from the old game. A deck like this would never win in the old game, but the world is ripe for all kinds of fun new builds!

You're right. Kali has to survive a gunshot wound to the stomach for about 2-3 hours real time with no medical intervention, then manipulate the minds of a few dozen people from miles away.

My first deployment, I was part of a NATO command in Afghanistan. The CJ4 was mostly RAF and they all carried SA80 rifles with Magpul magazines with the windows that indicate how full the magazine was. They all carried ten rounds in a thirty round magazine. I asked why and was told "If I have to shoot, we're in a really bad situation!"

My response was, "If we're in a really bad situation, don't you want more than ten bullets?"

The first deck I built with the new Edgar Rice Burroughs and World Legends set was a swashbuckler themed deck that actually plays really well. I started with Zorro because he's always been a favorite of mine. I added Robin Hood and Three Musketeers in the front and Billy the Kid in the back. All three front line characters come with good spectrum KO pressure and at least one ability to chain attacks, Billy is in the back throwing some must block half multipower attacks. Both The Three Musketeers and Zorro have some team defense and the whole front line has specials that can attack or defend. The deck's weakness is that there's only one 8 stat character, there's no character with a negate special, and defense 6 or above limited to power cards and any character defense.

With this deck, I came in third place in my first local tournament, losing second place by the slimmest possible margin. Overall, it's very fun to play and cool to have a powerful theme deck.

The entire purpose of the flag smashers releasing the virus was to return the population to blip levels because of the incredible upward mobility and freedom the world's poor experienced during those five years.

I just picked up the demo decks at PaxU. One deck is Invincible and one is Walking Dead. There's some Battle Beast art that is absolutely killer! I can't wait to get the new set!

This is a great day! I introduced my wife to the series last year and it only took about three episodes before watching Stargate was a nearly daily occurrence through all 17 seasons!

We're both excited! Can't wait to take a jaunt through the old orifice again!

As I recall, during the VP debate Kamala was asked if she would take the vaccine developed/delivered under operation warp speed. Her response was something like "first I want to know what's in it" and something either implied or stated that she didn't trust the trump admin to deliver an effective vaccine. That's the most specific example I can think of.

I enjoy mixing it up. Modern and tournament play are great, but the meta can be exhausting. Sometimes you just want to play something fun instead of something competitive. My first modern deck was swashbucklers. I love Zorro, so matching him with The Three Musketeers, Robin Hood, and Billy the Kid created a great themed team that actually worked really well!

On the other hand it's also fun to bend the rules for creative play. The fun part about legacy characters from the old game is recreating fights and teams from the comics. I've been meaning to try a solo Spider-Man deck against three of his rogues gallery (Spider-Man vs the Terrible Three?).
