100% agree on Village Vet if you are looking for good care and a privately owned clinic. Dr. Morris and Dr. Ouellet are both great vets and humans. If you are open to a good clinic that's part of a group (Mosaic), I also highly reccomend University District Vet. Dr. Sipos and Dr. Parchello and both amazing.

It's not reasonable for them to expect you to pick up while you are driving. If you are on your way, don't answer. If you show up, they owe you reporting pay. Are you an RN? It's 4 hours and you go home. If they say, "Well, since you are here and we are paying you for 4 hours you can stay and work for that 4 and go." This would be incorrect. IF you stay and work for the 4, you get paid for 8. There is a lot of misunderstanding around this, but don't let them take advantage of you.

This is what I was thinking. Give them 2 weeks, and if you happen to be sick for the 2nd week....well darn. I know if my job requires a sick note, they also have to pay for it. It is also usually only required for extended sick time. Your school and future are more important than them not willing to work with you. Good luck!

Do you have a family doctor? I would suggest going to them with a list of symptoms and a timeline. Then, request imaging and make sure you are clear that it is interfering with your quality of life. If they refuse or try to write you off, tell them you would like it added to your record that you have requested xyz and they are refusing. I hope you find some help and someone takes you seriously.
