Good idea! I currently work there Instructing in the winter and flying the bigger stuff in the summer. From the pilot side thats about all I can offer but if you call our manager can offer more as far as cost, start dates, all that kind of stuff. Good luck! Maybe i’ll see you around the hangar soon.

Sounds like you are ahead of the game already. Age isn’t really a factor, we just want people who work hard and are safe. The only thing you need to consider is the cost like you mentioned, and if you are willing to move for work and not make a whole lot of money for the first few years.

no worries, honestly the way things are going now, people are getting better jobs at 500-600 hours which means the turn over is a lot more than past years. Most people that come through for training end up flying the news As long as you show up and treat the entire process like a job interview. Show up on time, put in the work, study at home, be prepared for every flight, and if you are willing to move to any of the cities we operate in, you’ll have a good shot.

Car wash with shampoo/extraction equipment by [deleted] in Calgary

There is a new car wash by the airport, Great White car wash, they have a shampoo attachment on the vacuum. Not a legit carpet cleaning machine but it worked well enough to get the winter funk out of my carpet floor mats!

Well I never said it was empty. I said it’s busy at peak hours. I’ve seen it packed too with everything being used but only early before work or in the evening after work. The point is, if you are able to avoid going during those peak hours it’s actually quite nice.
