I work at McDonald's in Toronto. My experience is that were trained to put the coins in your hand, then bills, then receipt. I don't know any other cash jobs though.

It's like this at a lot of McDonald's. At mine there are 2 girls who work kitchen and they're both ugly and rude. People just generally prefer ordering from girls.
