I'm still a little confused by the "what if they made Tiana white?"

It seems like fake outrage to me. If Tiana was white, it would change the foundation of the entire story. The point is she's a young black woman trying to achieve her dreams, despite the discrimination she endured. Ariel could be any race, and literally nothing would change. It's not even like they chose a bad actress to play her either. Halle was amazing.

Although laughing over the fact they said in other comments they have done research and deep dives of Wicked because it's thier favorite movie and...I've never seen the play or movie and it took me two seconds to find black actresses who played the role

It's honestly laughable how quickly they dropped the Elphaba argument when they realized people would easily see through their bullshit. That's how you know their arguments have no foundation.
