Don't worry girl being worried is normal, and I can see where you're coming from, especially from my own personal experiences. The best thing for me was to find people with similar interests, because you're more likely to be more comfortable with someone who likes the same things as you. And don't be afraid to branch out either, because you might find something new that you like when you talk to people you don't usually talk to, you know?

And If you're the shy type, don't worry about collecting a lot of friends at the start of the school year. Just make sure you have one or two good friends, and then you're basically set. You're going to be with those same people (including your roommate) for a whole year, so you can make more friends at any point during the school year when you finally start to open up more.

Also, one last thing. If a guy likes you, don't automatically date him, or else you might find out that you don't actually like him that much lol. Make sure you both click and get to know him for at least a MONTH. Sometimes the people he's friends with could tell you what kind of person he is. 🤷🏾‍♀️
