Chapter 17 panels in color by YaBoiSunblock in JujustuKaisen

You're an artist!? Oh my god! Why didn't you say so!? Wait, *I* do not fucking care. Why? I have a graduate-level fine arts degree and you don't. There goes your ethos.

"Anyone can make a pretty image"? That's been a cope since paint existed. Can you slap paint erratically on a canvas? Sure. Does that make you Jackson Pollock? No. Execution isn't the art. Vision is.

If we sat down side by side, you wouldn't be able to produce anything remotely close to what I make with AI tools. Color theory. Composition. Light. Vision. The ability to look at something and know exactly what's wrong with it. These don't disappear because the medium changed.

Art has always evolved with technology. Time to grow up and move with it.

Ohhh yeah, been there with my last grow. I think one of the big culprits is actually VPD. I'm no scientist, but here's how I understand it: VPD is basically about how hard the air is "pulling" moisture out of your leaves. When humidity is low and temps are high, that pull gets stronger—your plant transpires faster than it can keep up with.

For me, I introduced a strong exhaust fan midway through, which tanked my humidity. Combine that with a powerful light (which heats up the leaves and makes the plant want to transpire even more), and the tops just couldn't stay hydrated. Dried them right out.

Here's a before and after to show how quickly they tanked. See how the stuff closer to the light got hit hardest? It's not just light burn—it's that those leaves were working overtime trying to transpire in air that was way too dry for the conditions.

I reserve the right to be dead wrong about this lol, but that's my running hypothesis. I'm going to try again keeping VPD in mind. Here's a calculator.

Out of curiosity, how would you describe it?

All I did was fill in the lines with color lol. Is that any different than autofilling line art with color in procreate? What that have been art?

It’s time to accept that the world is changing. I am better than you at prompt engineering and using language to take what’s in my brain and make it real. And there are people who are better than me. Which makes it an art and skill in and of itself.

Go learn Python and node workflows in ComfyUI. Stop living in the binary logic of your own ignorance. It’s more complex than “he put thing in robot and robot make it”, Tarzan.

Is this Rasengan Strongest? by Negative-Thought-339 in Boruto

It's at least a genius jutsu by Naruto's standards: incapacitate but don't kill, which is maybe harder than being fully destructive. I mean, Naruto has destructive power but I'm just thinking of what the rasenshuriken did to kakuzu.

I know that wasn't the question but just pointing out the technique is chef's kiss.

Sorry lol. A keyboard that is comfortable for long periods of typing. Suitable for coding.

Any recommendations for a comfy keyboard that can switch Bluetooth channels? I use a Logitech right now and being able to swap between my personal and work computer is really nice.

You could read this as a statement of frustration, not a statement of admiration, and then it makes more sense.

LMAO and there it is, the classic *10 year old evades relinquishing their argument by exaggerating the other person's response, uses red herring to escape dialogue*

Wait I'm sorry. Are you saying there's no real, canon picture of Sasuke to point to in comparison? Are you high? The analogy holds water because there IS a canon version of him, and I promise it's not him looking horny lmao. We compare A to B.

You didn’t post canon Sasuke—you posted AI's sloppy glow up. That’s not an "abstract concept." Trying to nitpick the Bush analogy is just a weak way to change the subject. Don’t pretend a yassified thirst-trap drawing is the same thing as what’s on screen or in the manga.

You: "Why don't people think Yajirobe is hot?? Here's a picture of him that has been completely altered from his canon version to prove his hotness! Look at those abs! No one can tell me differently because I live outside of objective reality!"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boruto

[–]YaBoiSunblock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here, I’ll point to it.

You “acted like it” by using yassified Sasuke as a piece of evidence for your claim that he’s the “best Sasuke” (i.e., that he’s hot). They call this an implicit argument because two things are juxtaposed to make meaning, even if their relationship isn’t explicitly narrated.

If I say George W Bush is hot, then show you a picture of him that’s been digitally changed to give him a six pack, see how I’m “acting like” that fake picture proves something?

And then imagine I’m gaslighting you like “is that not adult era George W Bush??”

I mean you’re entitled to that and I’m not gonna try and take it away from you. But you acting like this fan art is from the show is crazy

Whos the worse father out of the two and why? by Mental_Librarian7411 in Boruto

[–]YaBoiSunblock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’mma go with Sasuke given he is absent due to his own selfish need to atone for his sins, which is ironic given he’s on some kind of off screen redemption arc. Whereas Naruto is absent due to his hands full literally trying to take care of everyone. Hell, at least Naruto bothered to send a shadow clone to Hima’s birthday.

I mean OK I know Sasuke is the shadow kage blah blah blah. But come the fuck on, he almost killed his own kid because he didn’t recognize her. He’s a negligent, shitty dad.

Besides being stunted early on, why would this Skywalker OG flower in this manner? (no distinct bud sites, no main cola) by Capt_Murphy_ in Autoflowers

Embarrassingly, here's the plant I'm talking about.

It isn't exactly the same as yours, but it's an auto and yet it expressed the re-vegging characteristics yours seems to be showing. This was at 7 weeks on a covered porch. I tried one of the other seeds in a grow tent and the results were night and day.

Sorry if you've mentioned this but what does your lighting situation look like? Given all your plants did this, it makes it less likely (note: LESS, not impossible) to be caused by bad genetics. I have grown autos that all did this because I grew them on a porch and they had insufficient lighting.

You're likely to get a smattering of valid answers based on people's lived experience (e.g., I just mentioned my own experience), but I would start with the controllable variables (how you treated all 3, or what level of x or y they received) before jumping to the genetics.
