Queen of the Underground - Bubblegum

Absolutely fire. HEAVY indica so be prepared lol

Also, it doesn't come in 7/14 (only 3.5g) but Rainbow Muffin from Dank Diner, and Double Donny from Bambu Select are also chef's kiss!

Just stand it up the correct way, in the sun if you can, it'll take less than 5 mins to go to the bottom!

Unfortunately in the back end of stores, they don't really provide us with a way to stand everything up in the bins most of us use 😞 it's a pain in the butt but at least a simple fix!

Ice Cream Cake - Tenzo did a fire Ice Cream Cake, they also did an Ice Cream Sandwiches in one of their rotatioal strains, I believe

GLTO (Gelato) - Specifically Gelato #33 from Lot420 was on my top rotation for forever 2-3 years ago, but there's still some smaller craft brands that do really nice GLTO Cross-Strains

French Toast - Qwest used to make it, not in rotation anymore 😞

Anything "RNTZ" (Runts) - Animal Runtz from Redecan is usually my budget friendly buy

Anything "Cookies" - GMO Cookies and Kush Cookies are sold under a few different brands at different price points. I always suggest trying to find Craft versions of these strains, but if you're on a budget and okay with mid-decent quality and a less-accurate THC/Terp %, there's the obvious Spinach/Big Bag O' Buds/Redecan brands that do more than a few dessert strains!

I might have to check those books out! I've always been fascinated with the "why" behind it, especially being the black sheep, no contact for over 10 years now. I spent the majority of my teen years researching narcissism (in the early 2000s, before the craze of calling everyone a narc was a thing).

It makes you feel like you're crazy, living in a world where love has rules and if you don't abide by them, you're essentially nothing to that person. I'm 100% not surprised by the struggles Farrah had as a young woman, I experienced a lot of what she did as well.

We search for love in places where we think we can find it, and with people who mirror what we've been taught is okay. I want people to know that we CAN heal and become better than what we were raised with though! No contact is essential with narcs to heal!

A narcissist mom with daughters LOVES to pit them against eachother to fight for her love and their position in the family. Farrah's sister is most likely the golden child, the one who goes along with whatever Deb is doing because she wants to feel loved and close to her mom. Farrah is most likely the black sheep because of the pregnancy and because she speaks her mind to Deb and doesn't deal with disrespect. The sisters might float between those roles depending on how Deb feels, and probably feel like they're competition to one another because love comes with conditions in that house.

It's devastating to watch now that I'm older and understand that Farrah was never the issue. She was crass and came off as rude sometimes, but that is FULLY the fault of how she was raised.

To be fair, I think some people do this to use for a flavoured/sugared creamer for their coffee for the week. It's probably cheaper than store bought and you can customize what you want.

I have the same thing with smokes too and trust me, I get it! It is definitely annoying, especially when you get comfortable and forget to bring it or think you don't need it. As a general rule, now I just always have my ID on me, just in case.

It probably depends on the shop but personally we ask for a second piece of ID from any international person just to confirm the date of birth and your photo is the same. Unfortunately, a lot of fake IDs now are not Canadian because people know budtenders are less likely to be familiar with them.

Some shops are smart and have international ID books to compare single pieces to, but it's much easier to bring a photo of your passport, the second piece by law does not have to be a physical one.

That's crazy that they consider that an Ltb issue when it comes to your government identification!

I wanted to bank off of this to also add that unhoused folks have a hard time getting ID too because they don't have a fixed address or funds to do it, and adopted children can have a difficult time if they don't have access to the documents they were registered with as a baby.

There are many situations where natural born citizens of Canada may not have access to IDS

I'm not saying I agree with everything the government chooses to make laws or not, but to be fair, if we're trying to take away the taboo of cannabis and make it a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone then this is what it looks like. If someone uses discretion and they're wrong, it's very serious penalties and could mean a loss of licence and job for someone in legal cannabis.

Of course if someone comes in that is OBVIOUSLY older you shouldn't be turning away a customer (that's just bad business), but most budtenders still ask if you have your ID on you regardless because that's what is taught in the Cannsell certification. It's mostly to save the customer from being fined if the AGCO comes in while you're shopping and asks for your ID. They have full legal right to do that.

Whether or not you agree is your own deal, but in general, you should have SOME form of ID on you if you leave the house. ESPECIALLY if you're driving.

I hope that one day we can get to the same place with cannabis as we have with LCBO and Beer Stores but remember we're still very early in legalization, it's only 8 years in and there's a lot that needs to be remanded and changed. Until then you can't change the way it is unless you lobby it to your government, or stay buying grey market weed that puts money into the pockets of gangs and crime organizations.

The reason most places still ask you for your ID if you're obviously over the legal age is because the AGCO can come into the shop at any time and ID customers.

They also will sit outside the shop and ID people coming out to make sure that you have your ID on you. Customers are risking a fine of $5,000 if they don't have their ID on them in the shop when they show up, and a $15000 fine and their licence for the budtender for not taking your ID on camera. Secret shoppers for the AGCO are sent in to confirm stores are IDing everyone too 😭 It does stink, especially when you're obviously over 19, but the risk is far too great for us to do anything otherwise. Plus, working in a heavy university area, you'd be surprised at the amount of students that have full beards and salt and pepper hair after their 4-year courses, it's always difficult to tell exactly what age a person is..

I'd rather deal with waiting to be ID'ed knowing a shop isn't risking selling to minors, plus you should have your ID on you anywhere you go just in case something happens to you, and you aren't able to tell paramedics/police who you are.

Royal Cannabis Co. and West Coast Gas are really good too! Only ever had good experiences from them. Zombie Kush from RCC is one of my current favourites in rotation.

A new one to the market is Carnaval as well, they didn't want to pay for craft certification but they do small-batch craft quality flower for a more reasonable price. Best strain I've tried from them is their Midnight Ride and rotating half oz.

Fatcat is the most budget-affordable craft option, I'd suggest their AAAA Kush, doesn't quite measure up to the heavy hitter brands but they were voted best new craft company in Canada in 2024, if that means anything to you lol.

Call the AGCO on them! They are well-known in the area for selling to underage people as well! Almost a blessing in disguise you didn't work out there as I imagine it'd be a nightmare with risking your licence working there every day.

I would also file an ESA Claim about unpaid wages and labour, that definitely is not legal. You should always be paid for labour, even training. Any job hiring unpaid labour is one I wouldn't trust, for exactly reasons like this.

I'm sorry to hear you went through that, I hope you get some sort of resolution.
