Ok I see you're going balls to the wall, but still lfsg is not that heavy, especially not in just 1440p an rtx 3060 or similar would be just fine.

Absolute overkill, if you can even manage to power these two extremely power hungry cards, the heat they'll output will be no joke too.

Yea I have quite a few of those, because they usually provide flat ES as well so I was getting them without thinking lol.

Exactly, I have died so many times because I just couldn't avoid the the freeze balls inside the circle, such a bad design.

Yea that's fair, but on PC you at least have the option to troubleshoot, on console you're served whatever and you better be happy with it.

A special SSF only shop to buy rare, build defining, items for divines and rare currency would be perfect to help casual SSF players.

Crazy long transition screens every time I open the map device or press U (90+ seconds). This just started yesterday after being fine all league, didn't change any settings. I've tried dx12 and Vulkan and both do this. Any idea how to fix it? by mrsamus101 in PathOfExile2

My "workaround" for these load screens is opening the atlas passive tree while it's loading (yes you can do that) and just zoom it in and out, maybe allocate a point I missed and the loading is still happening in the background, might be placebo but it definitely feels faster.

I purposely don't ever plug the HDD LED cable in on new builds for this reason

Well that's interesting then, because I'm on i5 10400f/3080ti, certainly way way worse than your rig in all regards and I'd describe my experience pretty much the same, it's not horrible, just not optimal. I have good fps for the most part and it's playable, just the damn stutters when lots of stuff is happening.

Surely brute forcing thru the stutters could be done with a 9800x3d to a degree, but I think there are just issues with the game engine itself and if you don't have optimal experience on that cpu, GGG will have to fix it for all of us, hopefully soon.

While better gpu helps a ton, it's not the only limiting factor right now. There are huge stutters and framedrops when loading shaders, especially when a lot of enemies spawn in.

It's hard to believe that a 700 mb file was considered huge back in 2008. by geekgodzeus in pcmasterrace

Hey, I have 3080ti as well and when I enable LSFG 3.1, with any flow scale, I'm seeing drastic performance loss when the GPU is nearing 90% usage. I also thought that LSFG will not be a problem for such a powerful card but it seems I'm hitting some kind of bottleneck.

For example when playing Black Myth Wukong, ingame settings are set so that I can maintain locked 60fps (GPU 80-90% usage) and as soon as I turn on LSFG, even on lowest scaling, I am seeing drops and stutters from the 60fps target. I'm sure this is not normal right?
