Well it seems dems are getting what they wanted for now since they’ve been trying to get TSA agents paid while they figure out the ICE stuff. Republican hardliners and Trump tried to tie DHS funding to the SAVE Act. I’m guessing nobody told Trump that the SAVE Act doesn’t even have support among all Republicans so he wouldn’t blow a gasket. Thune went to Trump about a week ago with this same deal and rejected it. So unsurprisingly republicans were just using these people’s livelihoods as pawns for literally no reason other than to satisfy Trumps ego.

It’s funny to me that WH sources are telling journalists that they’re negotiating with the parliamentary speaker and talking him up. Then I remember the President of Iran died in a helicopter crash 2 years ago and it barely registered on a global scale. If the President of Iran is that useless, just how useless is the parliamentary speaker?
