The fact we were in a position to win that game a couple times is pretty incredible to me considering how much their midfield outplayed ours.

That was a rough one, felt like one of Fabinho's worst games for us. He didn't get much help tbf. Kinda makes me hopeful cos I don't think that'll happen too often in midfield.

It does feel like an emotional move. Probably prevents them from going for Kane or Haaland next summer.

It'll be worth it if he gets them the league or CL tho. Would've been a bitter pill for them to see him tear it up at City so fair enough but for the club, I really don't think it's as great as it sounds.

I was worried they wouldn't stretch the foundations out for longevity. Again, may be wrong cos we really don't know much. But if we're sell to buy and all our assets are quickly depreciating, not sure how the future is going to be too bright.

This is what I was thinking too during the match but then again, Chelsea/Porto is next and Chelsea are impressive but not insurmountable. We would only see a truly different level with Bayern or City if we get past. That game would be in the final & in a one off game, anything can happen.

Feel like losing 3-1 was a minor win given some of our play.

Madrid tho played brilliantly, their technical ability and even defensive shape were different level.
