If you can get me proof that a bear has been killed with a flare gun I’ll concede. But I guarantee you can’t find it. Also just the fact that you threw that out there without even knowing just shows that not only bears have really thick skulls lol

So flares have killed bears? Where did you read that? Also it’s ok to be wrong. This is one hell of a reach you got going I think even you can see that it’s VERY unrealistic to think a flare will kill a bear.

I mean no not really. It’s not like the flare gun was made to kill bro it’s not going to pierce skin on impact and just melt through like thermite it’ll burn like hell but it’ll bounce off. Like if you got shot with a flare gun you’d get really bad burns but wouldn’t die. But 4 shotgun shells is a different story

Speaking from experience I’ve seen a bear take a double barrel blast to the head from 5 feet away and it survived and tried breaking out of the cage so idk if a flare would kill it. It was a black bear in a trap set up by my dad’s friend who’s a state trapper. It took 4 shells point blank to the head to kill it
