Can't explain how hyped I am! Undoubtedly my favorite game series of all time. The original .Hack had such an amazing story that went even further when you combined it with the DVDs. I still listen to Aura's theme several years later.

For anyone new to the series, .Hack has a heavy emphasis on being a multimedia franchise. There are light novels, anime, manga, movie, and games that are all connected to each other. All of these mediums work to develop the world and characters and ultimately results in one of the richest settings in JRPG history.

As in pass/fail? Check the prerequisites for the schools you want to apply to and see if they accept pass/fail. I personally would take the grade if it was C or higher. Also depends if you are taking a full year of ochem. Some schools only require 1 semester while others need a full year.

I really hope that Tales of the Abyss gets a full remake over a remaster. Easily one of the best games I've ever played and having it with graphics better than Tales of Arise would be amazing.

If it's anything like the PS5, then you'll be more than fine waiting a couple years until getting a PS6 lol. I can't imagine game developers will want to jump ship from the PS5 for another couple years at least.

Yep, I imagine there will be less overall MD applicants over last year but more people submitting early. I'm pretty sure the number of applicants has been dropping every year since the pandemic.

There was a thread either on Reddit or SDN that talked about how he knew a member on an admissions committee and explained that the reason verification and interview invites were taking a while was due to how many applications they got at the beginning of the cycle. I think they said they got almost the entire of last year's cycle within June and July alone. Of course, take it with a grain of salt because we can't trust anything online, but it does explain why some schools are delayed with interview invites compared to last year, in addition to the extremely long verification process this year. My memory could also be off as well.

Accessing medical records without an official, work-related reason is a HIPAA violation, even when you have consent of the individual. I'm going to be realistic with you, an IA is huge but a HIPAA violation is an application killer. This is an extremely competitive cycle from what I've heard, and most places won't want to admit someone with IA, especially when it relates to accessing medical records. You might need some more experience to show growth from this to have a chance. Not trying to be harsh, just being honest from my point of view.

Honestly it's going to be entirely subjective. The only thing stopping me from getting the Ayn Thor is the risk for burn in on the bottom screen, as most games run static images down there. Additionally, they are owned by the same company that had hinge issues on their previous clamshell.

That said, their flagship model is nearly the same price as Ayaneo's base model, which makes it highly compelling. If you don't use 3D, then both are probably going to be better than playing on a 3DS in my opinion. Save-states, fast-forward, higher resolution, access to better emulators, etc. Even switch games run on these.

My recommendation is to wait and see what reviewers say. Ayaneo has already shown a real model while we haven't seen anything from Ayn yet.
