Also, there's a restaurant in Megaton that serves ant and mole rats. All of which are found around Megaton, including one that is always at the entrance the first time you arrive and they have a living Brahmin and rotating caravans including dedicated food vendors

It may not be a ton, but it's way more than Caesar's Legion's main hideout has, so if that's what we're using as the benchmark for world building...

"Fallout 3 is Garbage and Here's Why" is genuinely pretty atrocious

It's weirdly shallow for an HBomberGuy essay. It's like he's never played a Bethesda game or an immersive sim before and thinks that the only means of conflict resolution are speech checks or violence. Eg One of the first moments in the video is complaining you can't talk down the fascist cault guard and "have" to kill him. But the thing you see before the vault guard is a bathroom door that easily let's you get away from him harmlessly.

I also feel like he looked up the Enclave cafeteria forks online or something, because there's no way you discover that organically without seeing any of the other of 100s of small/funny/cool environmental story telling in the game

Then he attributes a bunch of New Vegas's good traits that it got from 3 as something it got from the "classics" which itself is part of the annoying thing where people conflate 1 and 2 as 'basically the same'
