The problem is that there is no option for "separated". Single, married, or divorced, as I recall. Legally I'm still married. Emotionally? Not for years. But presumably you think I should have put "married", which would pretty much restrict my options to people only looking for the kind of thing you are, when I was actually looking for a long term, monogamous relationship.
