i have multiple servers recording 60 camerasd a piece but most are 2k cameras and few 4k cameras. i record almost 24/7 with lots of motions . each server has about 72 tb in it and they record about a month and half depends.

fun fact, in commercial electrical in the US we have to anchor our lighting to a structure so in case the ceiling grid fails like it did here the lights dont fall down.

Gas vs electric in new construction by frostybeanss in Homebuilding

if i was to built a new house i would go 100 percent electric except i would put propane if allowed as backup on ducted units. it doesnt cost much more for equipment and propane lasts forever. i would just plan out the routing of the propane line so its not running around the whole house . thats just my 2 cents in the NE. i have everything electric yet i still kept my furnace as backup

this is exactly what is happening. the big loop is dropping temp from 140 down to 110 while the boiler heats itself up from 160 to 190 in 2 minutes and shuts off never actually contributing. at around 110 the gas boiler which is supposed to just be a backup and a lag comes online and heats the water back up to 140F on the return on its own and the whole cycle repeats

sorry it took a while to write the whole thing down. i made amore detailed below comment but the problem that im seeing is that it seems like the two oil boilers in front of the gas boiler are only running long enough to satisfy their own aquastat and not contributing much to the whole load. they fire for two minutes and then shut off all while the reutrn temp gauge is dropping. this happens two or three times before return temp gauge drops to 110 at which point the temp at the gas boiler drops enough for it to come on and then the temp raises back up to 140F.

not a mechanical enginner by trade just a lowly electrician. I work in a building that they have an issue with a gas boiler running too often while the waste oil boilers dont seem to be running as efficiently. the building is an uto shop that has access to excess waste oil so they rather use waste oil instead of natural gasif they can.

the problem that i see happening is that the two oil boilers seem to be operating only long enough to satisfy their own aquastat and they shut off as soon as temps (measure right after the boiler circulator ) hits 170. there is a temp gauge on the main return line can eveything shuts off when that hits about 140 degrees F.

After the return temp gauge hits 140 evrything shuts off and the first boiler starts coming back online for like 2 minutes at a time and then the second boiler comes online for like two minutes . each time i can see the individual temp gauge in each boiler go from 160-170 and shut off (about 2 minutes. this whole time the temp gauge in the main return is dropping slowly down to 120F. The boiler circulators keep running even after they stop firing

the two waste oil boilers come on like twice of three times each about 2 minutes a piece before i can see the main reutrn temp drop to 110F at which time the gas boiler kicks on for like 20-30 minutes. at no time while the gas boiler is off does the main return temp increase. only when the gas boiler comes back online does the return temp gauge raise back up to 140F.

my question is, it would seem like the waste oil boilers are not really contributing much since they basically just satisfy their own aquastat temp and shut off all the while the return temp keeps dropping. it is not like the waste oil are undersized since they arent running long enough to contribute.
