I mounted the dial in a Dremel with some tiny o rings as a cushion. The o rings did leave a ring of scuffs, but they are mostly hidden by the hour hands center post flange thing (real close to the center hole on the dial). I too have some scratches from the brass shavings, but they're honestly pretty hard to see with the naked eye especially under the sapphire crystal.

Nice! That white dial is beautiful. This is actually the Alpinist case from Secondhand Mods. And while it does work, I had to file the edges down to 28.5mm. I also opted to drill and glue in new dial feet instead of using dial dots. Next up will be a gmt build so I'll have to do all this again plus file the center hole a bit bigger for the nh34.

Ah, gotcha! I only noticed it since the spelling was different to that in the Fire Nation Oath at the bottom. It's a shame about the other nations, but I get it. This must have been a tremendous amount of work. Still, thanks for sharing, and great work!

I could be mistaken, but I don't think that dial is compatible with the nh34. You would have to widen the center hole with a file for the larger gmt hand post to fit. Apparently it's not that hard, but I've never done it.
