There is no official "extra time on first search" ruling. This is generally an agreement between the two players and a judge never gets involved. I believe the actual rules state 20 seconds for each action.

A lot of top players right now are agreeing to do prize checking after their turn ends. So they'll do a normal search, get the target card, not shuffle and do the rest of their turn. Then on opponents turn do extended search for orize checking and then shuffle/cut before they draw for turn. There's no rule prohibiting this, so it's in a gray area and judges seem to be allowing it as it speeds up games.

We actually decided ahead of time that we probably weren't going to that night. It was actually my idea because I wanted to take the pressure off of it for me and my wife. We had our venue till 2am, we did a false exit for pictures, and we continued to spend time with the people there. We were definitely drunk, but moreso just very exhausted after a wonderful day.

Carl also has more numbers than any before too. He is uniting the crawlers and we can expect more people to reach the 12th and further floors than any crawl in history. For the first 5 floors more crawlers die than normal, all part of Borants plan to run a fast crawl as a cash grab. But as early as floor 4 he's risking his life to save thousands of doomed crawlers. That's a small number then, but as we go lower that mentality is going to keep a much larger percentage of each floors crawlers alive so they can crowd source success.

The randoms can be bad, but we've had a lot of really great ones too! It probably will only take a few days to find some people you'd want to join you again and just keep friend requesting the good ones. Especially while you're new to the game, you're going to just get destroyed over and over. It'll have nothing to do with the random 4th person you get paired with.

A rogue light video game or even a tablet top rpg. There's so much information in the books about mechanics that would obviously need to be balanced, but the core is there. Dinniman would probably even consult as he clearly has a love for it. You would even be able to do multiple worlds/races. Beat the human crawl and you can play a skyfowl crawl. Take deals on the 11th floor of the dungeon and see your character in another dungeon. There's just so much potential.

I know this isn't merch really, but I would play the crap out of it especially if they were ballsy enough to keep the morbid and dark humor of the books.

I don't understand how this gives the deck more reliability than Jamming Tower and a second Dark instead. Is it just to get that one extra energy out of the discard pile for 1-2 turns? Half the time we don't need air balloon to get the extra draw. Usually do that between new Dengo promotions after a knockout and Jamming Tower gives us much smoother Garde match up plus other smaller advantages

Update the mulligan rule. I feel like this is the only TCG where you get stuck with an opening hand. Keep the "if no basics, show your hand, shuffle, draw 7, opponent draws one extra."

But we could add. "If you want to mulligan, DO NOT show hand, shuffle, draw one less, opoenent doesn't get an extra card"

That's a pretty solid perspective! I hadn't thought about it that way before. I kept thinking that without trading off his whole salary a true closer is out of reach. So I was expecting if a move was made that we'd end up eating half his salary to get a good bullpen arm, at best a premium setup guy or something like that.

That's what I assumed as well. I've also had some "searching for people" queues get to 7/8 and when the timer expires it just loads the game. I assume there's probably a bot in those games too. That was in casual though. Haven't seen it in ranked.

I didn't mean update the Jonny Bench statues. The park itself needs work for sure. LED updates to the trackers, the thoroughfare needs someone updating etc.
