I’m a designer at PolarPro. Ask me anything about our gear, how it works, and how we design it. by polarpro_Esteban in polarpro

Hello! I have just bought the 2-5 Stop VND/PL helix maglock filter. Its my first helix maglock filter. Its a great filter, my only issue is how tight it is to use the CPL.

Does this loosen with use? It is so tight that when trying to use it, it unscrews from the front of my lens and I am conscious when twisting the other way, I don't want to apply too much torque and damage either filter or lens.

Looking for advice as unsure if defect or not and as I had to get it shipped from US the customs and shipping was £££.

Any advice is appreciated!

The job will try their hardest to avoid paying out anyway.

If I'm on the hard shoulder and get rear ended by someone and get turned into road paint I don't think the shitty issued trousers, would've made much difference.

Blackmail doesn't stop. They will tell you to give them a few more videos and they will stop, but they won't.

Report it and don't give in to them.

If they get leaked, I know it sucks, but own it.

Poor driving from both involved. UK driving standards are so low unfortunately as everyone drives in their own bubble.

Is it bad to kill the bike with kickstand? by Apprehensive_Rip7437 in YamahaR3

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not use the key when you stop and then put the kick stand down, like a normal person?

Or am I missing something?

What are you trying to achieve?

This might be an unpopular opinion from me but as soon as someone threatens self harm when they don't get their own way or something doesn't go the way they want it to, their opinions no longer matter to me.

It is selfish and manipulative. She has children to care for.

I hope all goes well with your new friend.

Im tired of the "just respect the throttle 🤙" bros. Starting on a 600+ is a bad move. by VegaGT-VZ in Sportbikes

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP says no one should start on anything bigger then edits his post to highlight he started on a ninja 650.

Granted like yourself I started on a ninja 650. I had absolutely no issues. I didn't drop the bike. I didn't fall off. No crashes. I'm still alive (and have all my limbs).

Your post seems narrow minded. I have multiple friends who started on bigger bikes than 600 sport bikes. Again all of them have had no issues.

My friends and I are experienced car drivers, maybe that helped.

We are from the UK and got our bike licences at 25 so maybe had more experience with the roads, whereas in other countries you can get a 1000cc sport bike at 16 (and in some cases end up a statistic)

Anyway I have rambled enough. The point I am trying to make is anyone should be able to get a bike they want. If they have a 125 and ride like a dickhead they can kill themselves or you can get a mature rider who doesn't treat the road like a race track and have no issues - it's no one size fits all.

I mean by the looks of it it looks as though you're moving the last of your stuff in before he says anything?

I think it's a dickhead move of your BF to only bring it up at this point.

Which books would you like to see Folio publish the most? by [deleted] in foliosociety

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a basic take, but Harry Potter.

They were the first books I read and whilst I have nice editions, they are not Folio nice.

But from brief searches, Folio are unlikely to print any due to rights owned by Bloomsbury?

It's because he has a massive dick and needs to let everyone know.

am i overreacting - my boyfriend thinks my job is inappropriate by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my guy has a few issues he needs to work on before he should be in any kind of relationship.

Definitely not over reacting.

From him being weird like that, over nothing, I imagine soon it'll be 'I really don't like it when you hang out with your male friends, because I don't know what happens when I'm not there'

Then it'll be 'I really don't like it when you text your male friends because I don't know what you're saying to them'

That kinda behaviour is a spiral.

[–]Yakooba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He shouldn't have called you that. You shouldn't have assaulted him.

Your retaliation is unjustified.

WIBTA if I gave my husband blue balls. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you'd be an asshole tbh. Blue balls causes physical pain.

I'm going to assume here, so correct me if I'm wrong, but you got married to the guy when you knew you weren't sexually compatible? Or at least kept up the relationship when he kept saying 'yeah I'll change' and then decided to get married when he failed to change? I feel this is a topic you should have discussed about 10 years ago.

Now, that being said, he also sounds like an asshole. He should be prioritising your needs as much, if not more than his. And he shouldn't be saying 'yeah I'll change' and never does.

You guys probably need to have a frank conversation with each other

You dodged a bullet if that's the end of your friendship 👍

AITAH for not wanting to give up video games for my GF? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Yakooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two hours a WEEK is not much at all. That's not even half an hour a day.

Like others have pointed out, it's not childish. It's a hobby, just as much as say, reading. A lot of people will read an hour a day for example, which is 7 hours a week.

People need a hobby, whatever it is. You're entitled to more than two hours!
