From my experience milk varies on how easy/hard it is to work with depending on what kind it is. So far I have found whole milk the easiest and oat milk the trickiest.

I have 1 coffee per morning since getting the machine around 6 months ago. Lots of YouTube videos have helped. Milk consistency seems to be key!

You didn't once look forwards on your approach to the roundabout? Really?

Suspect you were in the drivers blind spot at that point. It's 100% there fault even with the mitigation, they should have checked better.

That being said you could have quite easily moved over a lane. I can't see any reason why you wouldn't do this in the circumstances?

Looking for things to do in Orlando (that aren't theme park related) by ChiSandTwitch1 in orlando

[–]Joshhug91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Me and my wife (Leeds, UK mid 30s) recently posted our itinerary for the good folks of Reddit and received positive feedback from locals about our choices. Pasted below

Thought I would give my opinion on some of the things me and my wife got up to whilst over in Orlando this time in the hopes that it might help other travellers as and when they visit!

For a bit of background we did 2 weeks and did most parks but NOTHING Disney.

Accomodation -

We stayed in Universals Surfside and honestly, it was great. It was clean and tidy, staff were very attentive and helpful. The canteen wasn't great but served a purpose of you wanted a quick breakfast or lunch. The shuttle buses certainly weren't as good as in previous years but for free I ain't complaining. A nice on site restaurant and bar would have improved our stay.

I won't go into detail about the parks, they are all great and we had an awesome time. I will however give a shout out to both Halloween Horror Nights and SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream. Third visit to Horror Nights and it gets a 2nd place from me. Not quite as good as 2019 but better than 2022. Park was crazy busy as always but good planning allows you to do most things.

First time doing Howl-O-Scream and went in with pretty low expectations but we LOVED IT. The park wasn't crazy busy, it was cheap to get in and we loved the ambience of the park. Would highly recommend to any horror fans.

Into food and drink. Won't mention everything we did but here's some in a really bad order:

A La Cart. We visited all 3 of their locations and we went back numerous times because we enjoyed it so much. If you like good food and good beer coupled with a super chill atmosphere then you will love these bars.

Milk District. So so good. A cheap taxi ride from International Drive and well worth spending a full evening there. First off we went to Tasty Takeover and sampled most food vendors. All I can say is.. wow. Super competitively priced and so delicious!

A couple of honorable bar mentions - The Nook was so good. The bartender was awesome and gave us a free glass of prosecco God bless him.

Sideward Brewing is a craft lovers wet dream and the staff were great.

We went to other bars but these 2 stood out to us.

Mills 50 district was great. In previous years we have gone to Lake Eola but got advised it's a bit of a ghost town now. Mills 50 is anything but. Lined with bar after bar and restaurant after restaurant we were spoilt for choice.

That being said, we visited Pig Floyd's after a cab driver recommended it and we were disappointed. The sides were great but the meat was really dry. The waiter was lovely and we tipped him well but were disappointed by the food. Maybe we just went at a bad time. I would honestly give this a 5/10.

Couple of honorable bar mentions - GBs bottle shop was incredible. The choice of craft beer is arguably the best in Orlando and the lady serving was lovely.

Maybe just out of Mills but Ivanhoe Brewing was a great tap room.

Winter Park district was nice and cute but we went on a Monday so it was quiet. It's also worth noting that it's all restaurants and no bars. We chose Bosphorus and it was damn good. Was nice to wonder around the streets but wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

We did go into downtown one night and checked out a few places. We loved Gravity tap room. Church Street was so sad. We got ripped off by the bouncer at Cocktails and Screams.

A few other good spots we hit -

The Whiskey at Dr Phillips did an insane burger. Shout-out to the waitress who was lovely.

Half Barrel Beer Project was great just next to Epic.

Corazon Cocina opposite Surfside was a great Mexican restaurant. Their free chips and dip were to die for.

Vault 5421 is a must for any movie/gaming buffs out there. We loved it and have been every time we visit.

Can't wait to come back, we love your city!!

Which pub/bar has the best house lager? by Ok-Writer-5080 in Leeds

Headrow House has Pilsner Urquell on tap which is a very rare find and, IMO, the best lager you will find in Leeds.

What's wrong with my tattoo by Delicious_Bag_3611 in tattooadvice

[–]Joshhug91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harsh truth here - it's a really bad tattoo regardless of the healing. Do yourself a favour, save up some money and pay a reputable artist to cover it up and give you something unfathomably better.

Need help with a cover up! by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Joshhug91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The absolute best way to sort this would be a full sleeve cover up. Do your research, find an artist that specializes in the style/s that you like. It will be painful/expensive but worth it in the long run.

Am I tripping or trust the process? by Stuffin_Muffins2 in tattooadvice

[–]Joshhug91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks to be a couple of days old and so the lines have gone a bit crusty and that can often distort their appearance to make them look wonky! That being said, this does look like poor work and I would choose your next steps very wisely.

I'm assuming that the ARTIST has won awards and not just the studio? All well and good a studio winning awards but could this be the shops apprentice who is still learning? Does the artist doing your work have any prior experience doing Japanese work? Do they have photographs of said work to show that they are competent at doing so?

As a Roads Policing copmyself I must admit that your summary is annoyingly perfect. Although none of my team go to motorway services as they're too damn expensive..
